Jackie Chan does most of his stunts himself and he uses realistic martial arts -- in fact he and his stuntsmen hit each other for real. As for Jet Li, that one loves "flying" and performing impossible feats.

He's a brilliant actor but he aint funny.

Hi,

Any Jackie Chan fans here? What are your best movies? I loved Rumble in The Bronx, Drunken Master II and Who Am I best.

Hey man, rumble in the bronx was tight, i love the part that one of the bad guy's opened his arse and told jackie, kiss my arse, jackie was so annoyed, he removed a car antenna and gave him a very nice whooping on his arse and there was another part, two giant guys were after him on a tall building and he jumped down, one of the guys told the other one "go get him" and the other one was like r u mad "u go get him"  Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy , mr nice guy was good too, that is d one he used a very big and mighty tractor to destroy the boss glass house at the end of the movie.

I av been searcing for rumble in the bronx everywhere but it is really scarce man, do u have it? i would like to have it as well please.

Av you also seen Shangai noon and Shangai Knights with Owen Wilson, the Mandallion where he had super human powers, the tuxedo in which he was singing like James brown, Who am I was very good too, i bet that place where he fell from the plane and was falling on one tree to another was real, he got really injured, i also like the part where he used coconut as a drip for that guy who was beaten by a snake and how he quickly changed the car tyres and won the race unknowningly, i also loved the part where he shouted Who am I out of frustration.

I take Jackie Chan anyday anytime man because he is a real stunt maker but he is kind of getting old now, and would soon start using special effects to enhance his movies.

Jackie has said he will soon retire. What do you expect from someone who has broken lots of bones in his body over and over again?

You can get Rumble in the Bronx off the bittorrent search site [I couldn't buy it]. I've been trying to lay my hands on Supercop and members of the Police Story series but I always turn up with New Police Story. I've tried magnet sites and torrent ones too.

I AM a thorough JACKIE CHAN FAN AND I HAVE SEEN ALMOST 90% OF HIS MOVIES. A TRUE ENTERTAINER AND FAR BETTER THAN BRUCE LEE AND JET LI IN TERMS OF ACTING PROWESS.
HIS COMBINATION WITH SCHOOL BUDDIES SAMMO HUNG AND YUEN BIAO ARE ALWAYS THE BOMB.HOPE TO SEE A NEW COLLABORATION OF THE TRIO OR A FILM WITH JET LI.
HIS NEW POLICE STORY BROADENED HIS ACTING PROWESS FOR A DRAMATIC ROLE RATHER THAN HIS SLAPSTICK ROLE IN RECENT HOLLYWOOD PRODUCTION.

Jet Li uses lots of ropes. Depends on your preferences, but I hate watching unrealistic fighting (flying, etc). Jackie Chan exudes lots of confidence on screen. There's no doubt who's the main man in any of his films.

I've watched lots and lots of Jet Li films. Twin Warriors was good eye candy [especially the Tai-Chi part] but I daresay the fight between Jackie and Benny Urquidez in Wheels on Meals and against Ken Lo in Drunken Master II are super. Even the one in Who Am I was very spectacular.

When you compare those to Jet Li's fights, I prefer Jackie's -- he's a better entertainer. He never pretends to be the all-strong guy Jet Li tries to be. If you watch Evil Cult [for some reason I like it because I once had a crush on the impish Chigmy Lau], and see the "powers" Jet Li uses, you'll know what I mean -- Great Solar Stance, Magic Stance, etc.

I'm pro-Jackie -- all the way!

Sure. They must have used lots of makeup because he looked considerably younger. There were some hilarious parts of the film but on the whole it's not a film I love watching all the time -- it's very touching.

On the whole, I think this is one of Jackie's best emotional films [up there with New Police Story].

Jackie was born in 1954 and celebrated his birthday Last month -- do the math

He's from Hong Kong in China [he was called Hong Kong-san at birth meaning 'born in Hong Kong']

He picked up English when he went to Australia to live with his parents

He's married to Lin Feng-Jiao but for now they're separated although not divorced

He has one son -- Jaycee Chan -- who's also a singer and an actor.

He's also rumored to have an illegitimate daughter.
