Sup girl,
Maybe you are not maintaining it well, you need to at least use the right stuffs to brush the hair cos, yes, they all claim to be human hair but its the way you care for the hair that matters. ( l hope u use pinkoil , mousse , hair shine, do u use hot iron to keep it straight, and much more) cos l have friends that use milky, brandy and premium and their hair is looking fly cos they maintain it well) Grin

Even if they call it human hair, that doesn't mean the hair won't tangle. Human hair does tangle if you don't keep it right.

Disney probably said it all. Use pink-oil, straighten it, brush it, curl it, just keep it well. And you can also try yaki? It's good. Good luck girl.

Ohh can i ask a question? Do u glue it to your hair, or u weave it and sow? Or you use net? Just a quick question.

Homegirl, like all the other hommies have said u have to maintain it. Wear a scarf on your head every night and make sure the person that did your hair knows what there doing , because your problem might be coming from your hair stylist.

for lucinda ellery,u can google her on the web.but it is pricey, Wink Wink

Will the hair remain hers? I mean she wont take it out anymore? KILODE!!!! 100,000 naira for hair extension.

Who's the hair-dresser that'll even collect that from somebody. Hanhan,  Wait ooo, 100,000. Okay im not even going to buy this one,  i mean i wont believe this. Haaa, egbami, ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA! FOR HAIR,

Wait oo, did u mistakenly add two zero's?

EVEN TYRA BANKS WON'T PAY THAT MUCH FOR HAIR. Let's face reality here, i would start the foundation of a house with that money. Rather than to buy fake hair on my head.

-----------------------
Hmmph, that being said,  I think your friend needs proper beatings (no offence meant), a child dies every 5 second in the 3rd world country, and she's buying extensions for 100,000 and that's not with the fixing money. And between, im sure she changes her hair at least every 2 months. So in each year she spends more than half a million naira on hair.

*FAINTS*!  Lips sealed Lips sealed Embarrassed
-------------

BTW , peculiarose, i beg u in the name of watever u serve. If u want to use 100,000 (1,000 dollars) on your hair, LOOK FOR ME. I'll buy u good yaki human hair for 30 dollars, buy u pink oil for 10 dollars, hair coiler for 30 dollars -- plus u can use that more than once, infact u can use it for more than 2 years.  And i'll do the hair for free, the remaining 9030 dollars, i'll put in my pocket.

U don't have to spend a fortune to look good. Isn't it hair? If u know the right beauty shop, and have the right hair-dresser, u'll be just fine.

i rest my case!

yes papermoon you are right,i actually heard of another woman who fixes extensions on the island in lagos.and for just bonding with glue she charges about 30k.all this spoilt rich kids go to her place.but she is meant to be very good.
i heard there are also mink eyelashes that cost only GOD knows.my first job in london was in a salon.and i remember it was this salon in mayfair.all this arab women would come in and shell thousands for their hair.it was ridiculos.they even had a client base where regular clients get cristal champane etc andstrawberries.
it was a different world.
but PECULIAROSE.in reality if you want hair with movement and you are working with a budget then i suggest u go to finsbury park in london and get to look at the variety of hair there at pak cosmetics/hair world.a lot of the yakis claim to be human hair but they dont act like it.but with the correct hair products you will be able to get some small small movement Grin
no mind PAPERMOON o,she is on another levels,  ;)unless u want to eat baked beans for another year. Grin

You can also try Black diamond or Bohaime.  These are nice brands as well, although more pricy.  I have always used milky way and i haven't had any problems.  Another issue you might consider is the weather, in the winter it's not easy maintaining extensions. They tend to tangle and are difficult to comb through.  Milkyway is not good for humid and cold weather.  Black diamond and bohaime will do the job all yr round.

Check out this website for hair extensions www.hairsisters.com.  I buy mine from here everytime, lots to choose from.
