It's critic and they critique movies - sorry my hands and mind have a habit of getting ahead of me 
But as to the rest of your post  Very trueand though it's not only Nigerians who do it.
I say that of Method Man and Raekwonthey always try so hard not to look @ the cameras in their movies
Not everyone can act, not everyone can even improve with experience. Some have it! Some don't but people do what they do for their own reasons  I don't like watching people who can't act - they ruin the total experience i should be getting out of the movie or TV show
