The fact that Nigeria and africa at large are in such a bad state also seems to have escaped you. If you cannot understand some of the reasons for this underdevelopment, why make out like you do. Your comments here are indicative of the exact lack of knowledge and pride that is keeping our country (and the wider continent) under the heel of Royal Dutch Shell and similar foreign corporations.

Poor misinformed lad Cheesy
Nigeria and lots of countries in Africa are richer than a lot of countries in Europe, America and Asia.

I have never read such nonsense. You clearly have never met any non Nigerians and are basing everything you say on hearsay. You should change your name from Blackcat to BlackConjecture. Absolute nonsense of the highest order. I would even go as far to say that it a downright lie as I do not believe anyone who has heard of Jamaica or Haiti or the US would say such a thing.

Will let fellow nairalanders answer this. Don't want to have all the fun alone. Be warned though no body insults Nigerians on nairaland and gets away with it. Let the yabbies begin  Cheesy

"Be warned though no body insults Nigerians on nairaland and gets away with it"

What exactly was insulting about my previous statement? Btw the word is nobody.

"Poor misinformed lad
Nigeria and lots of countries in Africa are richer than a lot of countries in Europe, America and Asia"

Once again you have shown no ability to understand a simple sentence. Who cares about how rich Nigeria is when the roads are in such a bad state, rule of law is not enforced, healthcare system is poor, most people don't have running water, no steady supply of electricity, mass corruption is prevalent, etc? Despite all the truly eminent people we have produced, we still find ourselves in such a bad state! Our leaders do not observe the will of the electorate (by rigging elections) and nobody complains! Dr King once said that a man who won't die for what he believes in is not fit to live. If we all adopt your attitude and don't fight to get Nigeria to where she should be, we are doomed. So many threads on this forum are specifically dedicated to bemoaning these issues. Only a cretin like you could take my previous statement and start spouting irrelevant nonsense. I would like to ask fellow nairalanders whether they are concerned about the underdevelopment of our country. I would also like to ask fellow nairalanders if they are concerned about the influence and operations of foreign corporations in Nigeria.

"For someone who has the above qualifications, damn! you sure use big words with horrible English coordination. Very poor English I must say  Where did you school by the way (must say it's pretty disappointing)"

What exacly was wrong with my use of grammar and/or punctuation? Please point this out because I would love to have documented evidence of your petty attempts to slur me. Also, coordination can be defined as:
"the harmonious functioning of parts for effective results". http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/coordination

While not entirely wrong, the accepted word to use in the context you used coordination above is grammar. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/grammar

Once again, you use of punctuation is non-existent. Please get your own house in order before criticizing me.

There truly is no reasoning with the unreasonable! You claim I am lying, but continue to label me an african american despite the fact that I have only ever visited the US once! Why do you insist on this type of childish behaviour? If you truly think I am lying about our roads, enforcement of the rule of law, healthcare system, availability of clean water, electricity supply, prevalence of corruption, etc then you are deluded, plain and simple. Also, to sound so happy about the slave trade is abhorrent. It says a lot about the type of person you are. You are the living embodiment of everything that is wrong with our country.

If you truly believe I am lying (as you claimed previously), please answer one simple question: Are Nigeria's roads in a good state?

While I cannot force you to answer, failure to do so will show you to be the fraud that you are. The ball is in your court.

WHY FIGHT OVER OBAMA?
« #41 on: January 25, 2008, 01:55 PM »

The real issue at stake is left untouched, 2 nairalanders are busy fighting themselves. I now realize why people like them fight @ the hallow chambers of  the national assembly and some die in the process.

When did blackCAT and bizzyBONE start 2 tangle? Education should not only reflect on papers bt also in character.

If you have read the entire thread, you could not have missed the fact that I attempted to discuss the major issue at hand before being subjected to a sustained character assassination. The fact that I have exposed the racist, nonsensical ideology of said character assassin is a credit to these boards and to myself. I am therefore asking you why you have chosen to attempt to besmirch my good name? The fact that I am trying to educate my fellow nairalanders about the fact that they have been unwittingly socially conditioned is indicative of the good nature of my character is it not? I would like to hear your views on this,
