A Long Road To Happiness
« on: November 24, 2007, 07:05 PM »

My path leads me forth to nowhere
but i plunge on into this loud silence
of visible feelings and empty meanings

a long road into nothingness
where does sadness start and happinness end
where do we cross the line away from our beliefs
and our deepest feelings

I long for that subtle time and place
where time would hold it's breath for us to breathe
why can't i stop this imminent release
give me the lead to that paradise of a place

Hold the moon in my arms as my thoughts go out
what do i find and what am i even to look for
dance in the shadows and the shyness of trees
hold my arms outwards to make a silent wish

Outside in the warmness of the weather
taste and sample events as they come forth
except those destiny already bought
my route to happiness
my fate out of darkness
a light that brightens against my weakness

With my feet i walk higher with each step
head held up to touch the skies i seek
blue clouds caress my cheeks with sighs
its inevitable this companionship
late at night i'm better able to sleep
