You guys have to understand that when you typing sometimes you tend to omit words not that you don't know it but you pronounce it thinking you have typed it , i think that's what's happening here.  Smiley Sad Angry

True, only to a limited extent. The bobo never hear of proof reading?

BTW I thought this thread was a classic and that it had
long disappeared into cyber space. Smiley Smiley

If a graduate cannot speak proper english, it is not because of the university or polytechnic that he attended.  He must have had that problem long before he gained admission.  It is at the Primary school level that the foundation for speaking proper English is laid.
So, next time before anyone condemns any higher institution, he should pause to find out what primary or secondary school produced the graduate.  Our primary and secondary schools (especially public owned) are churning out substandard products that university or polytechnic lecturers cannot help.

my dear friend emray,i write this to encourage you at this dark period of your life,i had a similar problem before i left the university last year.i wrote an exam for a dear friend in my final year and was caught.i was taken to the school senate to defend myself and at the end of everything i was suspended for three years.it was a trying period in my life and im still yet to recover but i had to move on with my life.a living dog is better than a dead lion, once you have life and you believe in your self and your inherent abilities, you can and definitely will survive.forget about some guys in the forum who laughed at your use of grammar,i believe you can make it in life, take heart, stand up and start doing something positive.it is well with you

If you are waiting for someone to encourage you you are wasting your time. I have read previous comments and have found that not too many people are willing to give you what you want.

LEARN TO ENCOURAGE YOURSELF

one more advise: never ever think that you are a failure.

A friend of mine was expelled from OAU five years ago. Instead of sulking, he went on to re-enrol at UNIBEN and started all over again. Today,  he is in his final year once again. This time as a mature and more serious-minded person.

There is always something to learn from your mistakes. Find out the root cause of your expulsion and make sure you don't repeat the same mistakes again.

You can still reach lofty dreams even better than those who may be mocking you today.

Wishing you all the best.

Men, I was laughing aloud when I read these posts, forgetting I'm even in office. Thank God,my colleagues didn't ask what was wrong!!  Sincerely  I didn't want to laugh when I at first when I saw such 'igilarities' in the topic, but as I read on,the comments comments posted by the posters above made me burst into laughter.
I don't like looking down upon a fellow being, but sincerely ENCOURAGEMENT is too popular a word to be mistaken for COURAGEMENT(which anyway doesn't exist),moreso by a final year student in a higher institution.!!! But this is not to say this guy can't become a better person than even those of us that have in our  heads dictionary.

I'll advise he goes and write PCE and go to poly, for I doubt if he is a university material.
