You reasoning is counterproductive! it doesn't reinforce you conclusion. because one baby die out of every 100000 thousand or more, does that mean we should outlaw male circumcision. should we outlaw driving because it leads to grievous bodily damage? No! your are more likely to die changing into or out of your cloth than from male circumcision.

We did it for girls. The vast majority of women survived female circumcision just fine, but when one died, the case was blown up and the practice was outlawed. So I ask again:
How come when a girl dies from female circumcision, people call for the procedure to be outlawed, but when a male dies, no one says anything?

yes before jumping into conclusions, we must know why the mother performed the procedure, and her competence.
as we can not throw away the baby with the water used in bathing him. (Because the water is dirty)

This is pure negligence. Even in Nigeria, babies do not just die from a procedure as simple as a circumcision. I am sure this native doctor has killed a baby with a history of "hemophilia". Without proper monitoring and diagnoses--as usual--another poor baby has been called to glory! Why are they even contemplating arresting the mother? She should be arrested immediately and questioned on how come she did this procedure herself. The story is sketchy and there should be an investigation into this before this woman does this again. Gosh! Birth is a natural process, circumcision is not.

Please, it is not the process that kills but the manner in which it was done. I would suggest the parents go for genetic counselling if it is heard of in Nigeria or where ever the hell "Tarragona's Pilar District" is to determine if there is a bleeding disorder in the family.
