Why Do Youths Run Away From Deeper Life Bible Church?

Christianity is the only religion that has changes in contemporary times, comparing it to Islam,
Judaism and Hinduism. It is not about what Pastor Kumuyi or Pastor Chris says but what the Bible
says. It is easy to identify a Moslem because of his dressing but Christians today cannot be identify, Why? Because the world is now in the Church, today churches have special days for casual wears, the church organizes trips to poolside and that is where they can wear their bikinis and expose their breast, this what the youth wants. Today churches don’t preach about abstinence from sex but the use of condoms. The youth are forgetting that they are not immune to death, “what if I gain the whole world and loose my soul?” prosperity is the order of the day. I personally will prefer going to a financial forum than going to a church for a pastor to teach me how to make money. Today the youth go to church with the breast partially exposed, we go to church and in the middle of the teaching people get out receiving calls. Can you interrupt your father to receive a call in the middle of a serious conversation? Why GOD? Is it because you don’t see HIM. The youth may not like Deeper Life but when they are diagnosed with AIDS they go there because they KNOW that the word there can take them to Heaven. They preach about Holiness because the bible says without Holiness no one can see the LORD.         

THE WORKS OF  THE FLESH ARE PROPERLY DEALT WITH
IN DEEPER LIFE.MANY YOUTH IN THIS GENERATION
HATE HOLINESS,THEY SAY THE CHURCH IS BORING
BLA BLA BLA,BUT WHEN THE FALL INTO TROUBLE  THE REMEMBER GOD.
BUT THE POSTER SHOULD TAKE NOTE THAT IT IS NOT IN ONLY ONE CHURCH
HOLINESS IS PREACH IN OUR TIME,LET HIM WHO HAVE EAR HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAY TO THE
CHURCH! 

I want to see these churches that the youth want, to start preaching about hell fire and we will see how many of them will stay. The world now is about riding in big cars, wearing fancy clothes etc., are we not living as if we can die tomorrow? The church is failing us, they are now telling us the truth. They want us see GOD as only loving but GOD also brings wrath. Today we have gay Bishops, the same reason GOD burnt Sodom and Gomorrah. Don’t only look for Deeper Life, search for a Bible believing church where you know that if you die today, you may not land in Hell. We don’t need anyone from Heaven to come and tell us the truth, the Bible says it all.

Iya, I still want to maintain that your way of communicating in this forum is not acceptable in this 21st Century. You made mention of freedom of expression ( If I understood you well), Your freedom of expression should be in line with respecting someones views. Even if you don't you expressed it in more mature way ( if you are) and polite way ( if you considered it good value). Indeed, this is 21st century! Secondly, your use of English is also very confusing and I believe you can do better than that.

I am not a Deeper Lifer but I am a Christian. I do not neccessaly agreed with all that Deeper Life does or teaches, yet I can not insult them. It is their views. The main thing is one's relationship with God.

I am not a Deeper life member but i like their teaching, if u want to hear undiluted true word of God go to Deeper life. Such a place it will be very hard to find youth there. If u look at pastor Kumuyi is one of the few pastor in our time that has remain steadfast in his teaching. Christianity is an individual and personal relationship with God wherever u go always know that God will not say because u belong to this or that Church that will determine your going to heaven. Read your bible let God talk to u and be convince that God is directing u, if you are living your life base on what pastor say, it will get to a time u will not be able to continue and u will become a pretender or living hypocritical life.

Everybody, Youth, adult, men , women do you have a personal relationship or u are living your life on church doctrine or Bible/God doctrine?

I am a DEEPER LIFE member and I don't care what you guys say about my lovely church. A church I cherish, a church where the truth is preached a church where you find moderation and orderliness. Call it what ever name or insult we the members in what ever way. I am not moved by that.

jesus  never  complaint  of being insulted  why do you   advocate such   ,well jesus is dead to insult thats why   john   the baptist   called the pharisee broad of vipers and they reacted   like you just did .are you religious or   for jesus??

Urori: you probably totally misunderstood me. The point was not that Jesus never reacted for being insulted, never, it did not take his time because he was very focus to his mission. I felt that most of comments here is not constructive. Why youth run away from Deeper, ? is never a good topic. Why can we talk why many youth in Nigeria and parts of the world are not coming to Christ? Why many young people into robbery? What can youth do better? If you see the bigger picture of church and mission, you will probably understand discussing this topic is wast of time and energy (if you too is a Christan and mission minded).

Adejonny:"there is no place or church that stands and preaches the whole truth to the whole world like deeperlife does" this comment to me sounded like the one of Elijah when he though he was only prophet of God that never bow to Baal. Only to discover that there are many that God had been helping. May I suggest that Deeper Life is not only place or church that does the preaching of the truth. I was a Deeper Lifer both in the campus and local church and understood your experience as you explained it, however, I am in the UK now working a missionary and those years of Deeper was good one.

Why don't you give it a trial. My dear, you won't lose your reward.
