DirectOnPC Is Too Bad As An ISP

I HAVE A CYBER CAFE WITH DirectOnPC VSAT CONNECTION OF 128KBPS/300KPBS WITH 12 COMPUTERS. I CAN ACCESS EVERY WEBSITES, BUT I RECIEVE THE FOLLOWING ERROR WHILE ACCESSING YAHOO " Web Acceleration Client Error (515.2) - Upstream TCP Connection Establishment Timeout" THIS HAS TURNED THE INTEREST OF ALL CUSTOMERS DOWN IN MY CAFE, I HAVE COMPLAINED MANY TIMES WITH DOPC AND THEY HAVE FOUND NOTHING DONE TO IT, THEY ONLY ASK TO BUY ANOTHER IP,  STILL YET THIS PROBLEM STILL OCCURS, THE CUSTOMER  SERVICE IS BAD AS HELL, NO RESPONSE AND NO CARE,  VERY RISKY TO RELY ON DOPC CONNECTION. I AM GOING FOR GILAT OR LINKSERVE. IS THERE ANYONE USING DOPC THAT HAS SAME PROBLEM? PLEASE NAIRALANDER, I NEED ADVICE AND WHAT TO DO.

I have been adviced to go on GILAT and I have seen many DOPC subscribers now diverted to KKON and SOA VSAT. I think DOPC has put almost all their HNS7000 VSAT customers on 1 IP which drags Yahoo! due to many access through 1 I.P,  like 1000 people trying to access Yahoo! on 1 connection, ofcourse their would be Client Error. I have made enquiry for a better VSAT and I will be installing end of this month.

Since virtually all isp in NIGERIA are not customer friendly, pleaseadvice me on which broadband isp to use in a cafe of 8 system in my Badagry country home/village. Nairalandiers please am at your mercy

a bit of info for people facing yahoo problem- problem of not accessing Yahoo has nothing to do with ISP. This problem is generally faced by cyber cafes in all parts of the world. What happens is if any of the visitor in cyber cafe is sending spam mails; yahoo will blacklist the IP. So, then, nobody from the same IP will be able to access Yahoo. Same will happen in case of Gmail or any other reputed email service. Anybody facing this problem can call his ISP to get his IP removed from blacklist of Yahoo or Gmail. CAUTION: If you don't take due care to stop spamming from the cafe; your IP will get blocked again & chances of opening it again will be lesser.

I had a similar problem which got resolved by removing viruses from my computer. My understanding is the error indicates that the downlink bandwidth is congested. A DOPC engineer deleted viruses from my computer and the problem was resolved.  You could write to them on info@directonpc.com to reach them.

Where ever you run to makes no difference. I advice you stay with the one you know and understand them than to keep waisting your hard erned money buying new hardware each time you change. You are still going to face another dimension of problems. Note, I am not speaking or working for them.
