NIGERIA looks set to become the first sub saharan country outside SOUTH AFRICA to introduce MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY (MNP)

SOURCES SAYS: NCC is working on a plan to introduce MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY (MPN) which will allow SUBSCRIBERS TO SWITCH BETWEEN AVAILABLE NETWORKS WITHOUT LOSSING
THEIR PHONE NUMBER.
THIS WILL IMPROVE NETWORK QUALITY AS WELL AS INCREASE COMPETITION
AMONG ALL THE AVAILABLE NETWORKS.
