Oyibo To Play Goku In Live Action Dragon Ball Movie
« on: December 01, 2007, 04:44 PM »

See me trouble Oooh! 20th Century Fox are trying to give me a heart attack at my young age. SuperEagles almost did that to me at 98 worldcup, It's not going to happen to me again!!

I heard about Akira Toriyama selling the rights of Dragon Ball to 20th Century Fox a couple of years back. But didn't hear anything about it since; until a few weeks back that they've actually green lighted the project. And now they've gone to cast some white kid as the Legendary Goku!!! No offence to Justin Chatwin, seems like a decent actor, and the boy take style resemble Goku small. But how the hell is he going to master some sick martial arts moves in some months???

I think it took Yuen Wo Ping like at least a year to get the cast of The Matrix in shape for all the stunts and choreagraphy. Now this Chatwin fellow who hasn't done any movie that has required him to be a serious bad ass to my knowledge is becoming Goku!! Has the world gone mad?? Wouldn't it have just been better to wait for Jet Li's or Chackie Chan's pickin to grow small and take the role!

Anyhow sha, Stephen Chow is producing the movie, and Stephen Chow is AWESOME! Could've been better If he directed though. But at least with him I can have some sense of hope !

O BOY NA WAH O.  Shocked

Haba, why this guys wan do this. Its been a long time since we had a good anime story movie thats got some good kungfu and butt-whupping. And am

sure DragonBall the movie is going to be a kick ass movie. But dey don spoil show be that if they go and put some white kid for the part of goku. they will

just train the guy for like 3-4 months and then put him in the movie. am sure its because americans are the one producing the movie thats why they will

cast a white kid. had it been it was the japanese it would have been a different story am sure. Sha, lets hope that the movie has some good fighting

scenes and not too much matrix stuff and cgi graphics. let's see how the other characters will come out. peace.
