May Be We Are Cursed In Africa

How come we never get leaders that care for people and put others' interest before theirs?

Please tell me any of the leaders/rulers of Nigeria from Independence till date that has done something worth mentioning? I can only think of one person and that one is suspect too. Kids are snatched by bitter jaws of death due to preventable diseases before they have a chance at life? The family you are born into pretty much seals your fate in life? Never mind that the money meant for road construction that have been awarded several times over never made it to the work and various families are thrown into mourning everyday due to bad roads. No! They could careless. Instead they'd prefer to fall over themselves in donating billions to a useless presidential library.  And you tell me we aren't cursed?
