Trust people to put someone else down so it would seem they are more intellectually superior. Can you people not see that English is not eveseh's first language? The girl is trying you people should get off her back!

To the original poster of this thread, what makes UK clothes more superior? For your information, most people who travel to the UK to buy clothes that they resell in Nigeria don't particularly buy designer stuff. They buy very cheap stuff and then come and resell at outrageous prices.I have a friend that doesnt buy clothes for more than 2 or 3 pounds when she goes to the UK for holiday but when she comes back she expects to be treated more superior than the rest of the people who don't go shopping in the UK!Another friend on the other hand woudnt be caught dead wearing anything from the UK because she thinks its embarrassing.
How about that?

its not about how cheap or expensive your clothes is. You can buy the most expensive designer wear and  if you don't know how to combine your clothes you  might end up looking cheap and ugly, you can also buy the cheapest clothes and if you know how to combine it well, you might end up looking like a million bucks!! its all about your fashion sense, not how much you pay for your clothes Grin Grin

i can relate with this topic. to be honest its really not about how expensive or cheap the clothes is. in my case when i shop for stilletos, i buy the nicest ones sometimes they are a bit expensive. when i shop for clothes, i buy the latest ones sometimes they are expensive and sometimes they are cheap. but for me to tell another person where i got my clothes is a NO-NO. furthermore, if i shop at a cheap store that means tellin my friends that i got my outfits from a cheap store. cheap or not, if its cute its cute

i mean do you know what that mean? telling someone where i got my clothes? that means that everybody in the whole school/area will go and get the same clothes i got. and ehhh i no like am. however, people do ask me where i get my outfits, i simply LIE to them and give them the name of a wrong store, or i'll say that my lover got it for me. either way i aint telling them the real thing.

we all i like to feel good as in, knowing the fact that am wearing something everyone else want, but can't get. yea i know its a bit selfish, but i'd rather do that than having everyone sweat(copy) my styles.

I believe a lot of ladies feel this way although i could let a few of my intimate friends know where i get some of my clothes just as long as they don't go and buy the exact same thing!
