I think the name should be changed from Nairaland.com to *Sagbadiwere.com *sagbadiwere - adult becomes mad I love you. I really do. This is making me laugh like a crazy human being. Actually, that's a cute name for a website. lol, To all you Nairaland Addicts, don't worry, u will wear off it soon. Give it time, but one advice tho, it's cute saying u are a Nairaland addict, but don't let it affect your life. Trust me, u can't put it on your resumee that you spend 6 hours on Nairaland. they'll look at you and say Uhnnn? Feels good to be preaching to addcits.

Hmmm , that's true. I want people to be addicted (*evil grin buhaha*) but not so much that it affects their work or studies. It's important for Nairaland to be a positive force in the lives of all members.

Lucky me, I'm not that addicted, you know. Just that I find it difficult picking phones or attending to clients in the office nowadays. My boss has noticed, and is getting used to it, so I don't believe I'll get sacked. Thanks a great deal, Seun!

The best way to shut down Nairaland is to make Seun the special Adviser to Presidency on Internet Matters, that way he wont have time for this website again. Seun, be on the look out for your letter of appointment, while those of you who are waiting for this site to be shut down would have a sigh of relief. Mark my words!

Maybe we have to invite the NCC and the EFCC to this forum. This will surely scare some people away. That will be those with no clean intention sha I'm just addicted to the NET and when I discovered Nairaland, I became over addicted! I visit Nairaland ANYWHERE! haha this place is just too much. A day without Nairaland is an incomplete one. God bless Seun for thinking about this and I hope we all will be able to pay him one day to Seun and all good people of this forum.

guys, the problem is not nairaland. i guess the truth is there is no place like home. seems to me most of the "addicts" are nigerians based abroad. Nairaland is the best place to meet up and chat with nigerians about nigeria. there is no cure for the addiction!

it's in the ads i think. google adds and some other film adds are on nairaland so he gets paid for every time someone links to the ads through his site. he def makes a ton of money considering the daily traffic to nairaland.
