Please i need someone who knows very much about nokia phones to advice me on this issue:
I want to buy a Nokia series betwwen the cost of N20,000 - N25,000 with excellent specifications inclusive of camera,memory card slots,MMS), Please advice me on the collections of series to go for as though u were getting it for yourself, thanks

young man nokia fones are expensive and ur going to need more than that to get a good one.if u want a nice phone for that price, go for sony erricson.or u can buy nokia 6630 its ok for that price sha

What do u mean by nokia series is it nseries or just nokia phones.if u want a nokia nseries brand new phone d least u will have to stash is 30,000 but if u wantl other symbian fones like d 3230 and 3250s u can get them 4 that price (25,000) they have the features u listed or as richo said get a good sony ericsson but I'm afraid dt price still will not get u d high end SE phones like d w850,w880,w900,k800.so my word is check out nokia 3230, 6630, 3250,6230, or SE K750,w800,w810.whateva u do don't buy a fairly used phone in computer villa!

It depends on your taste for phones.Do you like flip phone or not flip.If it is Nseries flip,your money no reach o.But if it is standalone like 3230 6680,then the one your money reach is N70(if you price it very well 28000)(less than that for uk or fairly use).You can go for it because it roughed and have so many apps and games that you can downloaded made by 3rd parties and you don't get problem of app signing.For me i'm still using my nokia 6680 but if i want to buy any phone today it must be N70,N73,N82(music edition or not) reason
i don't like flip or slide phone because the flex problem.

Don't buy 3230, 6230i is way better than it, or get k750i if u can live with the joystick. My reasons
3230 looks like a brick, the key pads makes crazy noises, but the most annoying things about it, 1, it hangs very often and you'll have to restart it. The mp3 sound output is VERY VERY poor and low volume, it's like sagem x7 amr. The screen resolutio is just 176*208, while opening applications it takes minutes for some applications to start. After snapping a pix it also takes time to save it. That phone is very slow, hangs whenever it feels like.
So your best options in order 6233, 6300, or 6230i. Don't be deceived by people who insist on s60 nokia's because the cheap ones like 3230 are brick toys, even 3250 hangs.If u want symbian buy reliable ones but they are well over 30k,
personally i'll go for 6233, because it has 3g, one of the loudest Nokia EVER, nice pix, the video recording is way better than 3250+3230, and it's below 25k, so get it, and u'll be thanking me. That's my next phone come 2008. I'm presently using 6230i, it has some limitations but very rugged, infact it's the most popular s40 Nokia ever made

i agree with dapsycool 6230i is da BOMB its rugged, 6233 aint bad havent used it but a friend has, i had 6230i until i was robbed, i LOVE that phone, i used it to its limits way beyond what tha manufacturers made it for and the phone still revvs for more action its like a range rover defender it never dies(fyi 80% are still in operation-whatcar magazine) anyway back too my point i'll advice you get 6230i its less prone to virus its rugged, get a large memory card and enjoy as many mp3s as possible not forgeting 3gps and mp4s. i really stretched mine to the limit, i wwould use it as a dial up modem via bluetooth while still chatting/browsing with the phone, the only limitation is that it runs only java apps not symbian and the coolest apps & games run on symbian, oherwise its a cool phone, nifty and rugged, the only reason i'm not goin back to it is because i want to give s60 phones a try even though they'r prone to virus and all, but fact remains the best apps are in sis besides i like the idea of multitasking ability of s60 phones, i'm currently experieencing it, i'm currently using an s90 phone a nokia 7710, this phone is another awesome phone go online and review the phone, if you like it get in touch i could let you have it at a convenient price, it wont cost you an arm and a leg. take it easy son, have a nice day
