My Daughter
« on: April 05, 2006, 12:37 AM »

My daughter, whom I so loved
You can spread your wings & fly like a dove
Shake the mud & dirt with a shrugged
Without anger nor a grudge.

You can fly as high as you can
For you are a very strong woman
Blow them like a fan
To stay away to do any more harm.

My daughter, I will be in your side
Together we will swim the tide
If you're in the dark, I will hug you so tight
To give you comfort throughout the night.

Have courage for you're surrounded by lights
It is so bright it will restore your sight
To make sure your path is right
I can assure you, everything will be alright.

@Zahymaka
Thanks.

@uzygirl
It can really be both but in this case, it is from a mother to her daughter.
