i was opportuned to visit united states sometimes ago and my experience on sundays was always appaulling and pathetic.i had to walk for hours before i got a church and again surprisingly, the church was filled up by old folks.asked some people that claimed christianity:they said it's not compulsory.that the doctrine of going to church on sundays is not biblical
Well, I am glad you now appreciate what we have to deal with here and why most all persons here need a vehicle to get around. I do believe it is GOOD to go to church in obedience to God and to show him you are willing to do such for him. I am not sure about it being a doctrine but I would say that I spent the most part of my Christian life outside of the church, as in I did not attend church for years, I hadn't found a church I really felt was right for me. Not cause of anything else but my spirit did not settle in any church until april of this year and I can say this for sure, to be saved, church is not required but to live according to
God's will, church is a great idea. I say God's will cause I know more christians who live their "christian life" according to their own will than I do those who actually live it according to God's own word and I can say for sure that living God's will is the best cause I do not have to deal with many of the problems a lot of people deal with and life is more fulfilling this way.
