Glo customers will bid for the number by sending an SMS to a short code “705” stating the preferred line and the amount they will pay for the number. Subscribers can bid for as many numbers as they want.  However, only one number bid per SMS. Those bidding for several numbers have to send separate SMS for each bid.

Interested individuals (bidder) sends bid SMS to short code 705 using the following format
[ 0705 Number of Choice ]   [Space]  N [BID Amount] E.g. 07055500600  N50000

All SMS from Glo customers to the short code 705 will be charged N50 per SMS.

The bidding process is recommended to start on 30th November and end on 19th December 2007

To Make a video call with 3G plus is simple. Pop in your hands-free kit or turn on the speaker phone and check that the 3G symbol is showing on your phone (this means you have 3G coverage). Now, choose the number and press the video call key. Then just hold the phone directly (vertically) in front of you (and not angled) and you’re on!


High Speed Internet Access
Bringing the internet directly to your 3G mobile phone, at the fastest speed ever!
With Glo Mobile’s high speed internet access on the mobile services, you can now browse the World Wide Web directly on their handsets’ browser or laptop (with a 3G datacard) within the Glo 3G coverage area at speeds of up to 3.6Mbps.
