Hi all, this is a very interesting, informative and educative thread. i am grateful to the first poster for the topic. i learnt of this CFA some weeks ago. i intend to do it, but not until next year june. i just completed ICAN last year june. i intend to use it to write the final level of ACCA which consist of 5 papers this year. this thread has been very informative. thanks to all again.

i think it is high time we start dicussing issues concerning the exam proper,
the preparation progress, difficult topics and sugested way to takle it, other
 relevant materials etc.

@Mu, the Texas instrument you have for sale is it the recommended one? I think it is TI BAI plus, is that what you have for sale? If yes do provide your no so that i can reach you.

Analyst notes is good, as a supplement to more expensive summarized material like secret sauce, it also has a large question bank which comes cheap

still on study section 1, about to finish ethics, may be jumping qunth to tackle economics in study section 2. this is b/c of my better familiarity with those qunth thing and lack of calculator for now.

Yea why not. If you are registered for Level I for example you could say "Studing for CFA Level 1 exams" in your CV.
