Everyone pronounces my name well. We asked our parents for English names when we were younger. They refused to give us English names so we each gave ourselves one -- and you'll see those names on our various documents.

both, i guess. Christian names are the ones u get at birth, or during baptism. some non-christians also have english names. slave names are mostly surnames

@exu,maybe because you´live in England your whole life thats why you didnt know that most Nigerians have both Native Nigerian name and English name they are given at baptism or somethin.I know muslims don't believe in English names though.

@kimba,are you male or female?if you are male,why did they give you a name like Kim?

My grandmum was Felicia, and my cousin was named felica after my grandma, and because my dad really wanted me to be named after her as well but was beaten to it, he called me Felicity.

My dad was educated and lived in the UK, so that explains, but i'm glad its a different name, hardly come across anyone with that name.
