925 minutes without conceeding a goal. This is to me very outstanding. Jens Lehman have set another champions league record of 925 minutes of hcmapions league clean sheet surpassing the Edwin Van der Saar record of 638 minutes. This Gunners are simply marvelous. UP GUNNERS
Yesterday, the yellow submarines cannot do anything against the Gunners. The Gold and cup we may not  yet have, but we are proud of silver where supposed great teams had faulter along the road.

we have the gold, barcelona will not score against arsenal in the final.  Theres nothing Ronaldinho can do. he'll do his best and we gunners commend him , buit ronaldinho and eto will do nothing against arsenal. mark my words.

Arsenal finally did it and yea they did it with style n grace.
I think Wenger has adopted Rafa's last season's winning formation of 4-5-1 which we all know its boring by Arsenal's own high standards.
Its working and a lot of people will not buy the idea because its negative but who cares?

Arsenal couldn't find their rhythm yesterday but they held their fort very well and i think Lehmann was very brilliant.
My question here is can this formation win the UEFA champions league against a team like Barca and Milan?
Arsenal has to come out and fight for it in the finals and this would leave the defence exposed to the threats of Ronaldinho/Etoo or Shevchenko/Kaka.

Any thoughts?

well i agree with you, that 4-5-1 leaves less attacking options and it can be boring. Just like liverpool and chelsea. But when arsenal are in full flow and we turn up our gear a notch we bring new meaning to the formation.
e.g the game against real madrid at the bernabeu .it was breathtaking football and it was 4-5-1.

we haven't fully recovered from that defeat at old trafford and it's still affecting team confidence going forward. even henry didn't play well yesterday, moves he would normally make , he shied away from. He could have given us a goal ,but he didn't.

If we can build confidence before paris. our speed coming from the midfield will very difficult to handle. i fear ronaldinho , but i think gilberto, fabregas and hleb have the speed to curtail him just a bit. And that little bit might be significant enough to give us the title.

you are talkin as if we are goin to meet barca in the final, wait for the outcome of today's match before we start analysing,

because i sincerely doubt it that barcelona will qualify, its not that i beef the team but the way i see it, milan is in a more dangerous form than barca,

and tonight they r ready to play their lives out, and out manouver their opponents, watch ronaldinho, he's going to be marked tite, despite that ancelloti says man marking is not enough,

both zonal and man marking would be employed, gattuso marries dinho and the others cover up for him just in case, (u know what i mean)
