Yea some times it could be true. Infact, most times. Broken marriage is very sad and emotionally hurting i wish many marriages will work.
You can't expect siblings who don't see their parent showing love to themselves feel loved and their is no way you can share love without loving yourself. The problem starts when couples can't handle their differences maturely, but instead chose to wash their dirty linens in front of their children; some parents stoop so low to the extent of fighting in front of their children. Most of this things assemble themselves in the thinking faculty of these children and cause them emotional pains hence they become angry; angry at themselves, angry at every little things.
The emotional pain of watching one's parent break up can also cause deep hatred amongst siblings especially if one party is for the father and another party supports the mother. So they tend to view each other as rivals and that is the genesis of a broken relationship among them.
I pray and wish most parents know the emotional and mental pains their break up cause to their children.
