Hopefully win the tournament if we can qualify from our group, not because we are superior but its been long overdue. bad squad, not too good coach, its in ghana but still im very optimistic, would be in ghana to cheer them to victory, as i did in 2000 though we were robbed then but this time around i would be their guardian angel,

I pray it goes well because our preparation (as usual) is nothing to write home about. I wont be surprised if we can't finish as one of the top 3.
besides, i want Vogt to explain why he refused to pick OBODO to the tournament.
happy new year to all eagles anyway!

I was krazy about your post, until I heard OBODO
I'd rather pick a Second choice substitute from sunshine stars of Akure.

forget about the vogts,  he is not good enough as far as I'm concerned, it all depends on the players and their attitude. God willing, we will bring the cup home, ( there is nothing bad in dreaming, shay, ? Cool)

We shld just forget bringing d cup home. We don't have what it takes compared to the Ivorians and i think Ghanians. It's unfortunate that i might be watching our early ouster home live!

The squad we have right now has everything it takes to win the trohpy. But the set back is that we do no not have strong mid-fielders. Voght should work something out on that

i see no sense in this. Dont we have stars playing in europe? so y did u say one team is stronger than the other? if not because the super eagles don't take things much serious, we have everything to win the nations cup

though they have better mdfielders than us, i wasnt talkin about only their players, i also meant organization, seriousnesslike u said and realization of potential when judging them

whats the temperature in Ghana around jan and feb?
whatever it is, i'm very sure malaga is not too different
plus there are better facilities and less distraction for the players

I expect a first round knock out.

Nigerian football has never been this bad. Dickson Etuhu, Danny Shittu, OlofinJana, Ayila, Who is our right back. Cote D Ivore 2 Nigeria 0, Mali 3 Nigeria 1, Benin 0 Nigeria 1

when are the players expected to report to camp, I'm seeing somewhere Yobo is injured though it might not be anything serious. We should beat Mali and Benin then slug it out with Cote d'Ivoire which I think has a very strong squad. From there on we should just hope, who knows anything can happen.
