yakubu's style of play is different to the nigerian set up, most players esp eagles wont pass to someone thats just waiting for the ball

is danny shittu the first choice central back?

Have a feeling Ghana might win this one. Its early days yet, but I believe its theirs to lose. The might not have outstanding attackers, but all round, they do look impressive. As for we boys?? Maybe Kanu's penaltys can help us get to the quarter finals, No offence Cool

Why exactly do they want to play Sudan, no disrespect
but that a bit cheap, can't they afford a proper team to play against?
they might as well play against a local team in malaga before going for the games.

Nigeria has the players but no team (this is where the coach comes in) Sadly Vogts is nothing 2 write home about. His past record proves it.

Vogt's style of play lacks urgency, flair & inovation. Very boring football, God help us (i dont know y he would want to)

4 me naija no go reach anywhere wit the playerz wey we carry. I just pray that somebody will be able to stop drogba and kanoute in our defence. Also somebody could take over midfield from zarkora, diarra, sisokko, yepi yapo and keita, also that out strikes will see more or the balls and be able to beat kolo toure, yaya toure, In Jesus Name Amen.

i expect nothing from the super eagles come 2008 because they do not have a squad that is fit to win nor go far in the tournament. there are far better teams like cotedivoire and ghana. our team is weak

Yes its our country but the truth has 2 be said.

If the super eagles do well in that tournament, we will ofcourse be happy but it would hav been by some serious devine intervention.

Lets just hope they dont break any shameful record. Thats wat i expect them 2 try 2 do.

I think we just have to support them in prayer and hope that we stop this bronze medal to get the GOLD we deserve. I am not afraid of any team in the group marches, our team as never disappoint us at these stages before. I am not afraid of drogba and member of his team, Nigerian is also blessed with wonderful, skillful and determined player. We shall not fail.
