Anyways,
the Venue is chosen: Alpha beach
Day: 29/Dec
Time: 1.00 P.m No African time
That i believe some part sorted out but we need a spot that with a name we can easily identify, then we need something to use to easily identify us as a nairalanders. I would not want a dress code but something that would kind of make us identify each other easily. (like a tag) whatever, opinion open
Okay. someone suggested something like a banner? At the spot. Is that feasible before 29th.

the idea of the party is nice but i think we should dedcate people to handle specific things
first things is how may people are coming
are we looking at 30 - 50 people or more
based on firm comiitment an idea is then gottem of hw much it should cost
then share the ff
DJ or would some bring a deck or sth

Drink
then all is done
why don't we look at the sunday 30th
saturdays are always known for weddings

i think sunday is rather too tight
and concerning your idea of drinks & all that. we don't want to start having committee over something that is days away. i just think like i said earlier that each person should try & bring something (edibles) extra for the next person. Bring what u can share. & that is convenient for u.

This is a wonderful idea, it pains me that i wont be in lagos for the festive

I know u purposely brought this topic down here to murder the objective. You should have just deleted it instead of taking it to a place where people barely go to. I was only called to order by another member who said "i don't think seun likes stuff such as this o" What would it take u to say your view concerning the idea, if u think its wrong, say your reasons, instead of being such a ----. I'm sure u've heard many people talk about your attitude. Don't make yourself like a super lord over some subjects. Drop that "airs and grace" carriage that u put on & try to be humble. Reduce that shoulder u carry high & lower yourself. Yes u created nairaland but u did not make it, people made it. Don't destroy what u created with your own hands. Even if u destroy the Ids, u can't destroy the people.

Don't you think it would be better to discuss this on Yahoo conference? there, everyone can participate in the discussion. Not everyone would be able to make it to where you said because most people here have other daily engagements.
