@databoy247,

You are missing the point!

I never said we do not value CMS, we develop them. The message is: We are looking for people that can build and not only use!

@marketingtips,

We are only referring to the type of portfolio we will love to see. Though we do not mind wordpress websites with lovely plugins built by the person (the emphasis is on being able to develop not only use).

freecocoa: I couldn't watch the video(network wahala) but if what she's saying is that a lady shouldn't ask her bf for help in monetary form or otherwise if she really needs it, then she should shut da feck up.

Why the hell won't I look up to my man for assistance when I know I'll have no qualms returning the favor if need be? I won't only return favors but also do and buy stuffs for him when I want or he asks.

I don't believe a guy is a lady's meal ticket but asking is allowed as far as you the lady is willing to give back, it should be 50\50 as far as I'm concerned.

You killed it with that line!

I do not have a problem with a lady asking a man for assistance, monetary or not. It becomes a problem when the lady is only collecting and not willing nor ready to give any damn thing!

My Oga good evening sir,

Nice website you have. Just a few observations:

1. What is the essence of the x Close button on the drop down menu
2. On the drop down, the white font color on the upper light green portion is not so so visible
3. When I click add to cart on the right of the product description page, my basket still shows empty.
4. On the compare products tab, not sure how this works.
5. On the read more on testimonials, you may decide to list more juicy testimonials too
6. Ask Now takes me to accessories (guess this is just a test stuff right?)
7. I think the major nav elements should be made links leading to the major categories page
8. When i hover on the computer nav, i see different brands such as HP, Dell, etc. When i click on each of the brands, i expect to see PCs under that particular brand and not Ink, headset and the rest. When i hover on peripheral, and click on a brand, then i should be shown those. (#just thinking)
9. The shop by column on the right (http://www.paykobo.com/computing/brands/hp.html) are those just test items? When i click on Laptops, do not get to see laptops.
10. Make i go eat grin

If we have a million designers/developers charging #2000, its none of my business!!!!!!

They do not affect my business in any way! They only make me do two things: Perfect my skills to enable me compete favorably and focus on personal product development!

It is totally a waste of time to be talking about fixing prices angry

martyns303: for the fact that it is being delibrated on shows that its an issue. certain things in life are instinctive, you dont need someone to tell you if its wrong or not, Paul said, "doesnt nature itself tell you these things are wrong?". would i marry someone with a tattoo? yes! if i love her, but that wouldnt change my perception of irresponsibility, how would u explain this to our kids?

Correct, i love that!!!
Romance / Re: Would You Marry A Man Or Woman With Tatoos? by ogzille: 8:11am On Nov 17, 2012
No, will not marry a girl with tattoos. Its a big turn off for me for the following reasons:

1. I find them nasty
2. Classy (being classy is not about money) girls do not do tattoos
3. It may be a mark of irresponsibility or waywardness
4. It may be a sign that the person is a follow-follow
5. It may be a sign the person enjoys cheap attention (like having it on her bo_.obs) which I detest
6. They look nasty at old age
7. They automatically disqualify you at times.
8. When found at a crime scene, the police will arrest the person with a tattoo first this is because 'petty bad guys' do tattoos more than good guys (don't like police wahala)
9. Will not want to have my kids do tattoos and do not want them to have a mother that may encourage them to.
10. Phew, romancing her and looking at the discolorations on her skin (Urghhh), i love touching, feeling and looking at clean, sweet skin!! grin

Webmasters / Re: Lagbook Acquires Top-level Domain Name Naijabook [dot] Com For $10,000 USD by ogzille: 1:25pm On Nov 16, 2012
You are a very big liar! You cannot move ahead with lies... CHANGE! CHANGE!! STOP LYING angry

jakeadebayo: Ladies And Gentlemen book (LAGbook) yesterday acquired the top-level domain name Naijabook [dot] com for $10,000 USD from an undisclosed owner residing in the United Kingdom.

Yesterday, Africa's largest and fastest growing social networking website LAGbook acquired the top-level domain name Naijabook [dot] com from its owner who chooses to remain undisclosed. The domain name was purchased at $10,000 USD from its owner who resides in the United Kingdom.

"When LAGbook expanded to the Nigerian population three months after inception, we wanted to purchase the domain name Naijabook [dot] com and rename our social network, but at that time, we had little money to get it done. So we stuck with our name LAGbook, and rebranded to emphasise the capitalisation of the 'LAG', which means 'Ladies And Gentlemen'", says Chika Nwaogu, co-founder of LAGbook.

Chika continued, "Though we have purchased the domain name yesterday, we do not intend to change our name what-so-ever, and this is because of two reasons. One; we are no longer a Nigerian phenomenon; we are a global one with strong and rising international penetration especially in India, United States, Germany, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. Two; we have gotten appreciably popular with the name LAGbook, and we think it's going to be super uncool to change name now".

"Naijabook [dot] com is not the only domain name that takes our fancy. We hope to purchase in the nearest future domain names like Africabook [dot] com, Datebook [dot] com and Socialbook [dot] com", says Chidi Nwaogu, Co-CEO at LAGbook.

Chidi continued, "We do not intend to build sites on these domain names once purchased. Just like we did with Naijabook [dot] com, we intend to buy them, and forward them to LAGbook [dot] com; this means users visiting Naijabook [dot] com will be simply redirected to the LAGbook social network".

"Purchasing the Naijabook [dot] com domain for $10,000 USD is a great financial decision. When I was appointed LAGbook's Chief Financial Officer in August 2011, LAGbook was much of a Nigerian thing, and I was aware of the fact that Chidi and Chika wanted to purchase the domain name Naijabook [dot] com but were unable due to insufficient funds. Naijabook [dot] com is a top-level domain; a domain name many Nigerian-born social networks will die to have in their possession. So, I think it will do us a whole lot of good if this domain doesn't go into any other hands for a very long time", says Josh Osemwegie, CFO at LAGbook.

"Top-level domains already have a significant amount of traffic to them, so acquiring the domain name Naijabook [dot] com will top-up our publicity", says Nosa Ilegbinehi, Chief Publicity Officer at LAGbook.

In just 2 years, LAGbook has become Africa's largest and fastest growing social networking website with over 600,000 registered users and 6,000 daily new-signups.
Nairaland Ads / Re: Advertizing On Nairaland. A Real-life Case Study by ogzille: 8:29am On Nov 16, 2012
Profitability in the actual sense now depends on a lot of other factors such as:

- How nice his website is
- His follow-up skills
- The products he is selling and how nice they are.

etc.
