There is no better way to get High in the Most High than with heartfelt Gospel music. Frankly speaking, some people don't know what they are missing. They turn to alcohol, drugs, women and so on to relieve their sorrows. Well, those things only add double to your trouble. Secular music can be inspirational and heartfelt but it depends on who and what you listen to, not garbage that are out there and released every minute.

Jesus Christ said, 'come o ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest'. Christ's Kingdom is in the Heart. And one of the Channels to get through is through the Gospel.

Shalom cool.

people who make technological advancement are usually not religious people. in fact, religious people are usually against technological advancement but when the technology becomes available and is practical, then religion can be used as a tool to unite people to use that technology for whatever purposes it serves. so christianity or no christianity, i think europe would still have advanced to the stage it is today coz they were technologically ready to move fwd.. christianity was just the available religion they had and they built around it.

but the chinese have nukes tho, abi?

and i used developing nuclear weapons as an example because it is technological advancement that builds a people. so it could be any other thing ranging from computers to what have u

and how was china turned around? by embracing chopsticks and noodles?

Check the foundations of Major Universities in the world and tell me who started them( clergymen). in fact, if you are not spiritual and serve the almighty God in truth and spirit, your imaginations and understanding will be limited.

Oh, why are the jews so successful? make up majority of world billionaires, computer scientists, nobel laureates, scientists, hollywood top shots, top lawyers and judges in the world today? Heck this was even eminent during babylon. The God of Israel is the omnipotent, omniscience, omnipresent.

Now, this doesn't mean that if you serve your village gods that you won't create an impact, but it will be very limited. The Japanese are shintoist. The chinese and so on. They get inspirations from their own source that creates their uniqueness.

Europe refer to their civilization as Christian Civlization; what do you think they mean by this?

What do you think is Islamic Civilzation bro?

It is all in the mind, heart, spirit and soul. In today's African societies, we now worship money and what have you. They are our new gods. Covetousness.

Should we go back to our forefathers religion to create our own uniqueness? I don't support that. We should worship the True God above all gods. Through his son Jesus Christ in TRUTH and SPIRIT and other things will be added unto us.

You will see True blessings unlock on the African continent that surpasses all understanding. Not the materialistic ones they promise you with their debased minds.

Shalom Africa cool

However, Europe had to create an identity for itself through religion/culture(Christianity) and that was how the renaissance started. No matter how you look at it, everything they achieved today was built on Christianity. Without Christianity, I don't think there would have been anything like Western civilisation, to be honest.

For nation building and advancement to happen, you need identity/culture. And that identity/culture is what enhances your consciousness based on necessity within your community.

Lmao @ developing a nuclear weapon. You need to win against the generational psychological warfare that has made your people empty, before you can start thinking about taking on world powers in a war of attrition. You can use China as a case study - and how Chairman was able to turn China around, by creating a Chinese identity.

I'm not in the mood for long essays tonight, but you can google how Chairman Mao turned China around from poverty and emptiness - to where it's today.

Man, you are a very smart dude. With brains like this, Africa is going places.

@OP

The fundamental problem is Value system. African problem is in the Mind, Heart and Soul. How do we redeem them all in spirit and truth?

I am on a spiritual journey with the Most High as my guide to find it. It shall be well cool

Politics / Re: Would You Pray For Politicians In Nigeria To Repent? by Olodostein: 10:43am On May 09
The scripture says, Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach.

We can do Revival, pray, fast and seek God to change the situation. But you know that something is fundamentally wrong, when a growing number of people see something that is naturally and divinely abnormal to be totally normal and acceptable. And tend to see those who think otherwise as abnormal and uncivilized.

The scripture also say, that the prayer of the righteous man means so much. I understand God said in the scripture, that if there is three, two or one righteous persons, he will spare the city of, i think Sodom and Gomorrah.

In Nigeria case, the politicians see themselves as Smart( Earthly smart/wisdom), they device ways and means to oppress the common man and step on the downtrodden in arrogance and deceit. They are proud of this and it seems they do so intentionally. Therefore, their end and downfall will be disastrous if they won't read the handwriting on the wall and give glory to the Jehovah Adonai by doing what is RIGHT AND JUST.

Having said all that, Change is possible, albeit fundamentally. It starts with you and me. Faith without work is dead.

Rich man's wealth is in their city, destruction of the poor is their poverty.

If given in Truth and spirit, not at the detriment of the downtrodden. Then the Lord shall protect your path and bless your household.

Most uncooked meat come with blood in it. I don't even know of any meat without blood. Even if it's just a trace, it is still blood.

I actually do not fancy tattoos neither do I think they are worth it but some people really need to look at themselves before condemning others. Going by their logic, we are all sinners. If you shave your beards, you are a sinner. If you eat beef that had blood in it before you washed it and cooked it, you are a sinner. Sin na sin, there is no greater or lesser sin.

There is nothing like logic when it comes to spiritual matters. Faith is it. You believe or you don't. The word of God is deep and clearly stated, do not twist it with your limited 'logic' to appear important.

God sent his son Jesus Christ. He sacrificed his blood for our sins. This is why the animal blood in the old testament hold no significance anymore. So, anyone who scratches a tattoo on their body diminishes their inner being and are movable. They become weak souls and need redemption. But denial of one's conscience of what is good for our spirit is detrimental to our eternal soul.

99.9% of African countries are on that list.

I'm not really surprised.

In this age and time, we're still using spinach leaves to cure cancer.

It's obvious you don't understand science. Most of the drugs you pop into your mouth are made from plant extracts. In fact, if people eat more of REAL Natural food like vegetables, food rich in fibers eg.Cassava, Yam,, nuts and not Junks that you eat over there; there would be very less cancer.

Living in Texas doesn't make you smart or civilize. Next time, think or perhaps educate yourself, lest you appear a fool in a hurry to talk without thinking.

You need to use your brain and be less agreeable to just anybody's claims on the internet.

Let me give you an example:

Nigeria manufactures cars, buses, trucks, suvs (Innoson). Manufactures complete motorcycles, including principal component parts and engines (Qinggi). Manufactures computers, tablets and accessories (Zinox). Today the world's first and only black built satellite, NigerSat 2 sits in outer space, an achievement of Nigerian scientists. The Nigerian Navy now builds seaworthy vessels from scratch, with 100% local input, like NNS Andoni, a 31m Seaward Defence Boat. The Nigerian Defence Industries builds mortars and RPG launchers, armoured personnel carriers, and manufactures their own bullet proof vests. Nigeria has three functional nuclear reactors. Nigeria manufactures and fabricates aluminium. Manufactures chemicals, including agro-chemicals. Manufactures paint. Manufactures drugs for the pharmaceutical industry. Nigeria processes solid minerals like Calcium Carbonate, Dolomite, and Limestone. I could go on and on and on..

Now, there are many countries that are NOT on that list of ''those lagging behind'', who cannot boast of 1/5 of the achievements I've just outlined.

WHY THEN SHOULD WE ACCEPT THE LIST?

When even YOU don't know what is produced in Nigeria, how will some foreign group not wake up and include Nigeria on any silly list? They know you don't read or research. That's what gives them the audacity.

I mean, just because CNN and co choose to IGNORE all scientific strides made in Nigeria (afterall is Boko Haram not the only worthy news item?) does not mean WE in Nigeria will pretend we are standing still.

She has a point. Sometimes you argue blindly.

Reverse Engineering or reinventing the wheel is not Real Science or Engineering. How many Scientific theories or new bottom line inventions have we initiated ?

Find the cure for Aids; the roots/herbs are in your rain forest and be counted among giants.
