You know what i have been a loyal member on this forum for a long time now and i have seen the censorship nonsense, i have seen the change in the look of the site i have even seen the unnecessary bans but these rules you have come up with will be the beginning of the end of your successful site.

i want you to delete my account because as of today i am no longer a member of this site. I will not go to a site where i can't express myself freely or say whats on my mind without you and your cronies disabling my account. I don't need nairaland, nairaland needs me and all the other people who patronize this site.

@omegared,that's the rule in dubai,you use tourist to get work,tourist is converted to work for most africans coming in,only nepal,indians,pakistans and some other muslim country that get direct employment visa coz these countries have bilateral agreement with the uae goverment to supply labour. it is not common for africans.you must enter with tourist or visit to seek job,it is allowed.

Are you under pressure also? why would you consider marrying someone who didn't consider you until other women didn't give him the time or day? Do you have feelings for the guy? would you seriously marry someone without dating though you have been friends?

poster this one na tough decision that you will have to make on your own. The thing is most of the married guys who relocate abroad do in fact have to marry someone to get their documents. Some will marry the woman but have her understand that it is just for the papers (money exchange hands) while other go further by lying that they are completely single and marry a woman who has the best intentions for the man. Now some people will fall in love with the woman while others will keep up the farce.

What i would want you to think about is what your idea of divorce is and all that comes with it especially when you are supposed to be in love and living with someone. With that said, if he tries to divorce this woman, it might turn out to be major drama. As in she could get him in trouble with immigration especially if she finds out about you. Also divorce in America can take a major financial toll on a person (paying lawyers, paying alimony, moving out from your home, having to share the kids while paying child support)
in other words where would you fit in? would you start working immediately, would he be angry that he has to pay all the bills.

where are you flying from? because if you were leaving from the states for example you will be able to use websites like travelocity, hotwire or priceline to book your hotel and flight.

My experience

I went for an interview at a language school for IT. when i got in i met with the VP of the company who luckily didn't really know much about IT and she asked me a few questions which i answer properly then the systems administrator came in for the interview. He started asking me all these IT questions which i also answered. I went as far as asking him other IT related question to get his opinion and to make it seem like we had worked together before. After talking to him then the president of the company came in for the interview.

By now i was like wow how many oga's will interview me . Luckily for me the president had their biggest client on site so he couldn't sit and question me for too long. When all was said and done, a few days later they called me and told me they wanted me to start next week. i was like i still had a job and usually i would want to put in my 2 week notice. The lady said i needed to see what i could do because they needed me to start ASAP. i was like ok let me see.

Dude you don't get it. you need work authorization in order to work. you have a tourist visa which doesn't permit you to work. if you want to work legally you need to apply for the visa that allows you to work. ( i don't know what it's called but im sure you can google it)

i understand that you are expecting someone to tell you where you can get a job illegally but i don't think you will find that information here (maybe)
