Can anyone give me some emi songs? I absolutely love them and wanted to know what others think about them. Not your typical "meta meta e wole wa" (i know that one and sing it often LOL) I want to hear more as I'm building my collection. Please, this is MY topic and I asked the question because I want the answer. I don't care what you think about Cele, that's your business. If you're going to be negative, do so somewhere else. |

Quote from: Seunbal on November 23, 2011, 10:57 AM One thing that has been confusing about the cele people is their songs. Why is that they must chant or make some songs with arabic language. One even sand that "ile ologo ile alayo, kewu ni o fi wole" (literarily means one will speak in arabic to enter or in the paradise). Do they have anything in common or share iany beliefs with muslim or islam? please educate me Actually, that's a kerubu song. Kerubu sing "kewu ni wo fi wole", whereas cele sing "bibeli lo fi wole". C&S have a lot of arabic intergrated into their practices. There's nothing wrong with arabic- at the end of the day, all languages are from God so why's it such a big deal? |
I have the hymn book already but I mean songs, not necessarily hymns. Cause not every song we sing is in the hymn book- they're just general yoruba songs. e.g. Alade ogo, tireni oluwa, talo da bi re etc. |
Well tbh, the title itself is self-explanatory… but for those of you that don't get it (its not your fault LOL), I need a list and the lyrics to thanksgiving songs sung during thanksgiving in CCC on a normal sunday service. I'm fairly new to cele but its been around 6 years. If anyone has any songs and could help me out, I'd be very happy as its important. Thank you. I wasn't sure where to post this so its in the religion section too. |

His hair and his shoes! FIRST THINGS. If you dont know how to invest in a comb, do so. The creps have to be ON POINT or those battered things on your feet can walk your butt in the the opposite direction- away from me. Then the norms, face, smile, hands, smile, teeth, |
