I think we should do more of these things, that is blast all the stupid adverts we are forced to watch and listen to. For more of these,

check out my blog: http://nigerianadverts..com
and I am looking at introducing images and videos too (soon)
perhaps even organizing a site at my expeses at least to reduce some of these adverts that so anger me especially when I am watching my favourite soaps (when you are mine - former, The gardner's daughter - present)

Gal 1; " But my mom washes mine too"
Gal 2; " well my mom uses super blue Omo"
Mom: " that's true.

do you guys remember the ads that they had for, i forget what sporting event that went on in Nigeria either in 97,98, or 99 that they had the songs in Hausa, ibo, yoruba and english. I think the english one went like,
Welcome to Nigeria,
i can't remember the rest, i was seven when i left, and i think i was 5 or 6 at the time the commercials were going on. if you remember please reply. i'm so homesick just thinking about Naija and stuff and i remembered the songs.

There's a rumble growing in my tummy saying 'Boombala Boombala Boom'
It seems that I am hungry
And Mee-mee time is hear,
I am so excited
That I can hardly wait,

To sing the mee-mee song.
Take me, Break me, anyway you make me,
Mee-mee noodles, Mee-mee noodles, Boomsha sha mee-mee!

Although can't really rememba d correct lines of this 1 but I'm in love with it as well.
Alright now, listen now,

Ha ha ha, it has a lovely new purple and gold wrapper,
Rich cream...
And it has a... choc choc and you gonna love it,
Humm hummn,it's milk and deeeliiiciioouus,
And it's one taste it's gonna be in my mouth.
So go get yours now!
