am still an undergraduate... try to be at something... the labour market is over-crowded, so u need to develop an extra skill... it won't be easy, but its not impossible....

You can still get a Job through Recommendation by someone that knows someone who knows someone or be ready to provide any bank with a target of #500m .... Wow , you won't even be interviewed a swear !!

Bros no vex oo, but shey na by force say make you work for bank? And who said you have no experience? The 6 years worth of experience you spent doing business plus the experience you gathered working in a bank is definitely invaluable and would give you an edge over a fresh graduate with little or no business experience. Don't limit yourself bro, forget about working in a bank for now, leverage on the networks you have been able to build over the years, package your CV well and apply for jobs in other industries. I swear to God you won't stay long before a good company snaps you up.

Your age is NOT a barrier, you can still get a bank job BUT it's going to be marketing and not otherwise. Since you had experience with a bank as a marketer, is a plus for you. So, you can apply for an experienced hire in a bank and I bet you, they will call you and the pay is usually #40k/month +commission.

cant u reduce ur age on cv to reflect 27 or 28? u will notice some pple look older than u when u meet at test/interview venue yet u see dem showing 25yrs on their birth cert. if u cant do such then i presume u what to look beyond banking jobs because i dont think any one of dem take someone who is more than 30 for their job.

Use football age nw 31 is equal to 26yrs

But its nt all abt age u must pass d aptitude tests n oral interview plus training sch usually before u finally start workin in d bank. Goodluck to u

@OP! Football age will work if you're using NECO cert for Job search. It won't work with waec coz of the DOB on it. So never forge your date if you can't defend it. Between, most reputable firm will surely dig down from your FSLC to find out your real age.

Secondly, just like some peeps rightly said, its not too late to get a job in a bank. But you'll mostly get a contract job or experience Higher. That of Graduate or management trainee is out of it coz of Age (mostly 24-27) and time of graduation. (Mostly fresh graduate with 0-2yrs experience)

Finnaly, try to build a career path so you can gather experince as time goes on! When I left service in 2011 I thought things would be that easy even with my 2.1 I didn't get my desired job. But the issues I had was just my Age! coz I'm using waec cert. After I waited for close to a Year I had to take up a job with an Insurance firm for 6months without pay, from there moved to another firm where I worked as a sales person thereafter, got another sales job with a communications company after which I got a contract job with Four mills of Nigeria Plc where I'm working presently as a VSR. Truth is, its more easier getting a marketing job than any other job out there! Start with a small marketing firm and build experience with them. Then you can move on to a bigger firm. I now have sales experience in communications and FMCG with 2yrs+ experience+driving And that's what most firm requires. I enjoy my Sales Job now! I have a Hilux van I work with, earn Average salary plus commission. Meanwhile, I still apply for jobs too in any Big firm. Presently waiting for UACN result from WORKFORCE and will also apply for that of NESTLE when I have the time. So bro! Just start from somewhere! You'll get there!!

No, Some banks still accepts age 34 below if you're applying for experienced job. FCMB, First Bank do and Diamond bank. These are the few banks I know. Infact I have a friend who currently works with FCMB as a DSA, he is 32years and he is doing well.

Bank job @ age of 31?.... 100% sure... Package your cv very well... turn those six years of waiting to an experience...But am only sure of contract/outsource staff though and some banks pay up to 150k for contract staff.

Once you get to interview stage like that of Access and other firms they'll drill you to find out your real age and if you goof! That's all for you bro! So make no mistake about!!
