who's stopping you from going to work on Sunday? wear your hijab to bed or whatever, but not to school or work. imagine a white-garment church goer wearing their garment to work or school.

Why should we not go to work on Sunday when the constitution says we are not a Christian nation

Putting religious sentiment above common sense has been our greatest flaw in this country. Our constitution tolerates several believes and non should be forced on people. If a parents wants Biblical or Quranic education, they should be well-informed on where to get such and they should send their wards their without making news out of it.

It may not be part of their uniform but its part of the gradual Islamisation of Nigeria.
Is this what you know or are told?i

Do these support your assertion?
Christians ruling for 13 out of 16 years of democracy
Christians spend as many hours as they like in church on Sundays and Saturdays (7th day Adventist); Muslims go to work on Fridays
CAN president going around with a retinue of well armed soldiers, policemen, and NSDC running citizens off the road (as reported by Prof Odinkalu of NHRC)
Government money used to put a National Christmas Tree

So a twelve year old can challenge the Almighty Lagos state government on an issue and was given attention, whereas the mighty Fela, Dele Giwa, Ken Wiwa and the Ever green Soyinka were treated as persona non grata (mind you, I know what it means ). Am I the only one that thinks Muslims employ a dirty tactics to draw sympathy from the world?
Is Lagos not a muslim state?

Please let keep sentiment aside is only in Africa that student go to school in hijab. Visit all the strong Islamic countries you dn't see student in hijab all they do is put on a decent clothing and behave well. For instance in Saudi Arabia they don't do all this just put on an abaya (long gown) with no or little shape as long as one look decent without any part of the body expose to the view of other and you cover your hair only if you wish or by the wish of your husband. This is where Islam started and they behave a kind of western. The worst is the yoruba's that a real housa or fulani man does not see them as real Muslims, that is why a yoruba cannot lead a prayer in a mosque with housa or fulani present only in abuja a no mans land. Sorry if I offend anyone with my words forgive me because all I have written is out of experienced. PEACE

So why do we have
"So help me God" in the National Pledge?
Or is CRK not taught in public schools?

Why is it that Muslims never object to whatever Christians want while
Christians get agitated whenever Muslims want anything

Let me see how objective you are
Can we have?

Is there anything useful written in the quran humans did not know before? Why do so called infidels have so much better knowledge of virtually everything except islam than all muslims do? Because islam is nothing but superstition. Muslims think that it is important to pray five times a day in the same direction and so many superstitious things that have nothing to do with rationalitly but much more with superstition and magic. A very good example are the Uigurs in Turkestan. In former times they had been buddhists and belonged to the first who used book-printing. Then they embraced islam and book-printing was forbidden like in all other Muslim countries for many centuries! Why, because it is written in the quran that god teached humans to write with a pen made of papyrus. This teaches us what we can expect if islam once rules the world.

I feel for those kids under 3yrs old wearing hijab in the heat of the sun. Its total slavery. What does it have to do with their school uniforms. Please ban it totally from all schools in the 36 states and set the children free from this bondage. They can wear it anywhere else and remain in it butnot in schools.

we don't need to imagine
Have you seen a white garment church goer in that attire in a super market before?
I believe that it is not required outside church
A lot of guys who conduct jumat service go to work nearly, wear the imam attire before leading the prayer and remove that dress after and go back to work
Islam requires that women cover their body outside the home - everyday of the week and every hour
