@ Celan Lol I missed your message above. You wrote inside mine grin anyway I sent you an email. If you have access to Amazon they have it all there. If you have access to the US any Walgreens, Walmart or CVS or any pharmacy should have most of them apart from the Royal Jelly and Wheat grass. Make sure the DHEA is micronized.

@ Oluwabankemi you can use pregnacare conception. Or any one as long as they have Folic acid 400mcg-800 and Ferrous sulfate.

But do you have issue with egg quality and quantity? DHEA should only be taken if its absolutely necessary.

@itissettled it could make PCOS worse.

@LadyG; I sure did miss u,though I didn't ask of u but trully had u in mind & prayed 4u. Am glad u bounced back& forging ahead; dats d spirit dat drives d devil crazy. I wouldn't tell u not 2b bothered nor will I tell u 2 relax & take ttc off ur mind cos wen people tell me so, deep inside me I know its not as easy as it is said. Infact 4 me its simply imposible 2 take it off my mind wen I'm yet 2 get result. But one tin I'll tell u which has helped me a lot is "trying d Laughter Therapy". I stumbled on it on a webpage wer laughing increased d fertility rate of a high % of women above 40yrs. It was proven dat 5hrs of laughter a day increases ones chances of conception as laughter produces hormones dat are fertility friendly. This I believe cos sorrow& bitterness act otherwise. So, in as much as u do d ttc wahala all day, take tym out afta each visit 2 ur gynea or b4 bedtime 2 watch ur favorite comedies or visit hilarious sites online & get enuf jokes 2 mek u laf. For ur Laughter dose for 2day pls visit d Religion thread & find dis Topic "Hilarious church crusade poster (pics)". So so funny;Am yet 2 recover frm d humour grin grin grin!
Ur next self imposed exile will not b becos of ..., but will be as a result of ur relocation 2 d Pregnancy thread in Jesus Name.

@chiclasweet My dear this is somewhat what a normal analysis should look like. Note that the Values are different in some. The the way they measured the Concentration is different. But I am sure your doctors will tell you better when you meet with him on Monday.

Total Volume- 25 mililiters

Sperm Count- 40 million to 300 million is the normal range for the number of sperm per milliliter. Counts below 10 million are considered poor; counts of 20 million or more may be fine if motility and morphology are normal.

motility-50% or more should be active

Morphology-At least 30% of cells should be of normal shape

Color: grey opalescent

Concentration should be >20million/ml

I have a testimony to encourage all of us.

My Husband's boss waited 9 years and God finally blessed them with a set of twins (a boy and a girl) last year June. On Monday, he sent us an sms that God has done it again. The wife gave birth to another set of twin (boy & girl). I went for the naming yesterday.

God is still in the business of doing wonders. He is still the God of all flesh, the miracle worker. Please hold on sisters and brothers. Our miracle is NOW.

Moma2,
Thanks. I did d one earlier this year at Nordica. It appears they r not as good as they used to be. Embryo transfer was done by a different doctor from the ones l was used to. I even wondered if she was a specialist. After d failure I visited this thread to do some research b4 starting again. Someone even mentioned that Nordica wasn't as good again ( wish I saw dat earlier sad.).
This successful one was done at Nisa Premier Abuja. The person in charge is a renowned Indian woman who knows her onions. The only snag is that they're very expensive. Before deciding on Nisa, I had wanted to go to Dr Shuaibu of FertilAid or Dr Emeka of Olive both highly recommended on this thread before stumbling on a woman who had triplets from Nisa.
Where you do it is important. During this treatment I took my annual leave to take things easy. Was taking Pregnacare conception, drank at least 2 litres of water everyday. Read Supernatural Childbirth. Prayed well well.
It is not easy taking the decision to start again. Commit it into God's hands. Choose the centre wisely & take things easy. Take care.

Guess you're not in Nigeria hence you would have known by now that people hardly talk about IVF/ICSI and other assisted reproductory technology publicly. Don't know why IVF is still a hush hush thing here in Nigeria. People have this mentality that your child is looked down on if they knew it was conceived via IVF. And so my dear, you will hardly find people who are ready to discuss their IVF ordeal. The annoying aspect of it is that, even when you catch your friends in IVF centers here, most of them still deny its IVF they went there for except when they are sure you also went there for same reasons.
Here they use Humog for stimulation, pregnyl for ovulation triggering and cyclogest after ET. I doubt if they do belly injections here. My experience in 2 different centers was stimulating inj on the bum. I wish you all the best.

Hello house, I have been following this thread for sometime now. I will like to seek everybody's opinion here. I have been diagnosed with fibroids and my husband with low sperm count, we have been trying for a child for about five years now. I'm scared of going through surgery because of all the things I've heard concerning people that went for surgery and so many things happened along the line. Its either they die in the process or they find it difficult to conceive after that. I want to know if I can do IVF without removing the fibroids, please I need your opinions urgently.
Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Ebube2014: 5:13pm On Oct 26, 2014
@Wehnby it depends on the size and location of the Fibroids. Yes any surgical procedure is dangerous especially if you are going to go under general anesthesia(if they will put you to sleep). But if the fibroids is of a remarkable size or poorly located then you need to remove it. Because when you do conceive it could cause a miscarriage (God forbid though).

I did a Fibroids operation in 2010, because i had a fibroid that was blocking one of my tubes. The trick is to find a doctor that a couple of people have used successfully. Again please if you can, do an open surgery as I know a lot of people that did it Laparoscopically that are have issues with miscarriage.

However if the Fibroids is not too big you can successfully do the IVF without removing it. See a good IVF doctor so they can do an ultra sound and look at it and tell you what to do. As per the Low Sperm count, supplements like Folic Acid and Zinc might help to boost the sperm count.

My dear all the best and welcome to the trend and may your stay here be fruitful and short.
