I am wishing this young man a speedy recovery .This thread should be moved to front page so that people can know how critical his case is and donate something ASAP. I will drop my widow's mite too.

I implore those in diaspora to support this cause as well.. There shouldn't be any constraint since there's now a PayPal account.

Using this medium to appreciate all Tehn reps and volunteers. May your efforts not be in vain.

Djdola will live and not die in Jesus' name.

Good job
But
He must pass by and do biometrics for passport before another hospitalization o
I am shouting it again o
Unless you folks have decided that the journey ends at this new hospital please let me know so I can save my phone bills
Once he gets admitted, you are not going to be moving him again, the next trip will be to India from there
Let someone hear my voice o
This is very very crucial

I hope the hospital you guys are taking him to have dialysis machine and can handle kidney issue like his pending when he gets to India? my bp raised reading this. He needs to see a nephrologist. I don't believe that St. Nicholas don't have bed space for him. You are telling her to calm down? as a medical professional she has said it from the very beginning that his case needs very urgent and timely visit abroad before it affects other part of his body and nobody listened. Now it has affected his kidneys. 2 major organs failing and you are saying calm down? We don't have TIME!

Great work guys!

I will like to make a suggestion. Can we use the first page of this thread as a bill board?
Let all vital information (eg account details) be pasted/edited/added to the first page. This is just to make it easier for people to find information they are looking for.

This can also include updates (in one sentence) of the status, progress and final decisions of the arrangements being made. I think it will make life a whole lot easier for all of us.

So I will encourage the first organisers that have posts on the first page already to take this on and update accordingly.

May the Lord bless you all for your hardwork, efforts, donations and sacrifices. I can feel God is behind Hamed and this is a success story.

So Is he going for biometrics before admission?
Does he and brother already have passports

This appears to be an important part of the process. Do we need to constitute a team to look into this Or is an individual at TEHN already working on this?

Kudos to all on board for their efforts. Can you provide the name of the newly agreed upon hospital? Some people may have more information as to their capabilities and reputation.

Dear Ayinba, announcing the name of the new hospital here will not help DJ's cause. We are all concerned about him that's why we all left off our personal itinerary to chip in a word here, a call there some bucks the other side. If the name of the hospital is announced, its standard behaviour that because we are concerned and emotional we start visiting and calling which is what DJ the patient does NOT need at the moment. He needs rest. He doesn't need to be bombarded with visits and calls from us. That time will come when he is well stabilised in all areas and we will all rejoice with him. So please, be calm.

@Babyosisi, the confusion in the other thread was as a result of too many advice from concerned nairalanders and a as a measure to chanel these concerns appropriately, teams where set up. You are a member of a team, this very awesome concern you just raised is what you should handle behind the scene with your teammates and come out with an update. The way you posted this now seems like you are running a one man show and the supports from others here already will just start another confusion. Please na, let's try and organise this better.

@Gboliwe
I thought that may have been the reason behind keeping mum on the name of the hospital. Thanks for explaining, I don't think he needs a ton of phone calls or visitors at the moment.

I want to trust that the hospital is competent.
I pray that the efforts give a good outcome, Amin

I warned this guy against this Eruwa trip right from day one. I knew it, I said instead of Eruwa, go straight to specialist hospital. I remember telling him that he might end up being referred back to specialist hospital. I told him to capitalise on that period when people were emotional and ready to donate as much as they can but all my plea.........I am sorry if my post sounds insensitive

Nne, sorry please come out of the corner. Welldone for your effort.I have contacted Apollo before here is the direct contact e-mail: abubakker_s@apollohospitals.com
An giving you the contact of the one in Bangalore though the hospital is situated in other cities in India as well. In addition to Fortis, my reason of sending this is because as my Indian friend told me the hospital is used by the President of India. He also said Fortis is good. So you can try the two.

Thanks but you still have not answered the question
Do they have passports ?
Is there plan to do the biometrics before admission?

I am in in team B who are the other members of team b,I have no clue,do you?
Moreover the team taking him to the hospital should make sure this passport thing is taken care of
This is very crucial

This is the last time I will mention passport here since it looks like you folks have a game plan that I'm not aware of
