Reports reaching us from Ado Ekiti in Ekiti state says speaker of the House of Assembly Hon Omirin Adewale is to be impeached by the 7 PDP members of the house of assembly. It will be recalled that the 7 lawmakers decamped to PDP after the inauguration of Gov Ayodele Fayose leaving APC with 19 members. Heavy presence of security men at the assembly complex. This is very laughable that a 7 man Assemblymen will impeach the Speaker of the Assembly. I don't know why Ekiti has allowed a thug to supervise the breakdown of law and order in the state. It is very possible to impeach since minority supercede majority e.g River crisis and NGF. Anyway Fayemi brings the crisis upon the entire APC in Ekiti state. I find it difficult how a sitting governor cannot win a local government but loses everything to pdp. Smdh 4 fayemi 17 Likes |

This is no news because nearly all our state assemblies are protege of the Executive. Now that the Speaker is not dancing to the same beat with the Governor, he can't but scream foul!
