2.1 is still possible if you vcn have straight As in almot all courses and you need to register for more courses. I.e your credit for the last two sessions should be more than the first two years to have any significant impact.

But first class? Forgone theory brother.

You need straight A's and B's in equal proportion to make 2.1. First class is a forgone issue like the poster above rightly pointed out.

Bro forget first class but you really have to work hard to get As and minimum of Be in all your courses. If you have B minimum in all your courses across the session, your GPA for dat session should be 4.0. A 4.0 GPA will boost your CGPA to around the 3.3 range(roughly). If you now add the prospect of project in your final year which might be 6 credits( depending on your department). If you can have an A in your project and minimum of B in your final year courses your 2.1 is guaranteed.
The caveat to the above is that you dont have any carry over currently. While I was in school, carry overs don't add the same weight to your CGPA, but your school might be different.

Yes you can as soon as you learn how to calculate your CGPA yourself.

With this question you are asking, you may graduate with no class of degree....But it wish you the best

You can have first class, only if your father is the owner of the university.

I pity students who laze around in their semsters on campus only to arrive the 3rd year looking for magic to boost their cgpa preponderantly. The simple truth is the beginning always set the pace for the rest. Now, u're been advised to have A's and B's which u've failed to make at ur early stay on campus. Bro, it take only God's grace to make such grades, shunning all extra curricular activities and serving God like neva before. I wish u d best in ur pursuit for excellence.

1st year, 2nd year, and ur Cgpa is 2.79, 2:1 is the best you can attain @ dis point in time, and for that to even happen, you need to leave NL and face ur book. If you want first class though, consult your nearest native doctor.

Op don't mind them... yes i did a little mathematical calculation. yes you can still make a 2-1..

if your cgpa is 2.79..
Case 1... 2.79 as at 200l...
implies you have 4 more semesters to go... then aleays target nothing less dan 4.21

Case 2.... 2.79 as at 300 l first semester..
implies you have 3 more semesters to go... then
always target 4.68....
