hehe well shebi some guys have been clamouring that anambra should focus on specific sectors and not trying to do everything at the same time....maybe the clamour has reached the ears of anambra state government house lol...moreover i do not think sanitation can be classified as capital expenditure as i think it is recurrent.

This claim of Abia doing better than Anambra in healthcare should be backed up with a proof not some beer parlour mouth off. I see anybody that speaks ill of Obi as an iidiot and an enemy of Anambra. What Peter Obi did for us will linger forever. Obi rehabilitated many hospitals,built new ones and news medical/nursing schools. Nnigga,respect your age so little children will not insult you. Obi laid a very solid foundation for the development revolution that is going on in Anambra today. Obi dug out Willie Obiano from nowhere,supported him even while people called him names and ridiculed him because of his choice of Obiano. I remember when everybody was calling Obi a fool and Obiano a puppet. These people are the same people praising Obiano,while castigating Obi. They need to hire more workers and purchase more equipments for waste management.
Waste management is not childs play. Alot of money is involved. It goes beyond sensitizing people. What happens when people have piles of trash but no waste truck to put them away?
These things take time and I want Anambrarians to calm down and let Akpokuedike work....Everything cant happen at once.

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has presented an Appropriation Bill of N164.4 billion for the 2015 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.

The Bill tagged “Budget for Wealth Creation and Social Cohesion” targets economic and social development priorities of the state as outlined in the four pillars of the administrative blueprint that includes, Agriculture, Industrialization, Trade and Commerce and Oil and Gas.

The budget represents 3.17 over the 2014 Budget of N159.6 billion, with greater emphasis on road infrastructure and agriculture which will take 48 and 4 point one percent respectively.

The proposed budget is made up of N110.97 for Capital Expenditure and N53.5 billion for Recurrent Expenditure.

He projected the recurrent revenue earning for the fiscal year at N102.03 billion, made up of N48.4 billion expected from the statutory allocations and N54 billion from internally generated revenue.

Mr. Obiano noted that the 2015 projected statutory allocation was N8.6 billion less than the 2014 estimate, which he said reflected the decline in the state’s share of Federal Revenue Allocation.

He assured that the substantial growth in the State’s Internally Generated Revenue would make up for the dwindling revenue from FAAC.

While the Speaker, Right Honorable Chinwe Nwaebili, assured of accelerated consideration and passage with the collective interest of the state remaining paramount, other members of the House commended the integrity of the Bill.

The Bill passed first reading and was transferred to the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, who enjoined all Ministries, Departments and Agencies to prepare their budget defense.

By God's grace, we shall hit the projected revenue target and be able to implement the budget. Especially being able to implement the capital projects captured in this budget.

I was highly delighted that IGR was contributing N54 Billion naira!

@The budget i think its on point, road construnction and Educatio getting the lion share though Obiano is neglecting our environment because he looking at the bigger picture of attracting
investors in the State.
Efforts should be made to reclaim our roads and public places from miscreants, when i was pass ontop the Upper Iweka flyover i saw people working on the overgrown weeds there but there work was very poor, nobody is supervising them, the major roads are now turning to car parks.

I saw one beautiful car park at Bridgehead, the car park doesnt look Nigeria in its appearance, very neat and organised, its like park n pay shaa but the place is lovely and neat.

Every sane Anambra person knows Peter obi is a fraud who spent his 8 year tenure enriching himself and companies with state funds while hiring social media jobbers to protect his image. The only undoing of TA orji is not employing many mob internet and offline jobbers to help him save his face. Peter obi cannot boast of any tangible thing he achieved in his 8 year tenure apart from propaganda. Even the monies he claimed he saved to divert people's attention is fraud. Development in anambra is speeding i can attest to that.imagine me enjoying light almost 24*7 in my villa,Enugu ukwu..kudos to obiano.
Anambra is no doubt the most developed,populous and vibrant state in nigeria after lagos buh alot of work is still needed in expansion of awka,maybe extend the state capital to awka north and part of enugu state,to me,awka is very small for a capital........Onitsha needs road expansion,rail line,airport,good hotels,and water..,.by the rate of expansion in onitsha,by 20yrs to come,will definately be the largest town in southern nigeria....
Make una no compare abia,delta with anambra,is like rating argentina and japan...they*re underdeveloped and still have a long way to drive
