Please I went for the Workforce interview for a customer care consultant with Stanbic IBTC today. Although I wasn't interviewed cause I spoke the truth of not been able to speak two out of the three major local languages in Nigeria. The lady asked me to leave which I obeyed diligently. To my utmost surprise again, I just received another text message which reads;

Sequel to your cv submitted to work force management centre for a banking role, visit (their website). Print and fill the forms carefully with pen pending when you will be invited for an interview. All passport should be on corporate wears. Guarantors and referees must have email address.

Please was is that I was successful in today's interview even though I didn't participate? Or was I just lucky? Or probably I am been rescheduled for another role in a bank?

Any possible comments and suggestions on this will be gladly appreciated. Contribution from Giannakopoulos will be gladly welcomed and appreciated mostly. Thanks

I also recieved the same message. I was asked to print and fill some forms but I don't know the position I will be considered for. I later recieved another msg which asked me whether I have interest in opening of a/c with atleast 60 customers (marketing) with commission of #.... On each alc opened.

Pls in the first Msg I don't know if it is marketing or not but I was asked to print and fill some forms with 2 guarantors signed on the forms pending the time I will be called 4 interview.

LOLS! I also attended one today with UConnect for Call Center Role. So I was asked to speak 2 Nigerian Language fluently but I goofed! And from the Look on his face (interviewer) I need no one to tell me my performance wasn't impressive. Immediately I finish blab bing, the GM asked me to take my leave that they will get back to me. Just this evening an sms from them came in inviting me for the second stage of the Interview on same 2 Languages!! As for you, I think you performed averagely maybe that's why they considered you.

Let's see how events will play out itself. I didn't get the one of the marketing stuff but for the directive given to me asking me to go print out the form and fill it out. So that was it.

I was there this morning after spending 1hr n 15mins seating.A lady came and said if you can speak Hausa, Igbo n Yoruba please raise up ur hand, i think just 4 people did, she later asked them to move to 1 side while we that can speak 1 language should please drop their CV that they will re-schedule the interview. From my little observation i think its a WE-WE connection, so many people working in that office brought their candidate. Well, as for we that was asked to drop our CV lets keep the Faith n Hope alive that we will be called/texted. (As for me i think it was a blessing in disguise cos the bus i enter to the center sightly tore my shirt which i bliv wud ve disqualified me even if the interview shud hold n i was able to see d demo/meaning of their corporate wears). So age is no longer a criteria, its now two Nigerian languages. Most of their so called supervisors cannot even speak the two Nigerian languages, I don't know what d country is turning to.

They always ask people to do documentation and at the end of the day,u gonna wait till jesus come.i still have their form with me since last year august.
