Thats right. The Bantus practiced assimilation and made leagues with the tribes they encountered rather than their total annihilation or perpetual animosity. The further they moved, the more tribes were assimilated. The Eastern Bantus assimilated most of the short statured tribes who occupied the region before them, from whom they get some physical features like the prominent forehead/receding hair line, rounded lips and beautiful large eyes. Like the Sukuma beauty above. The average height also gradually decreases eastward for the same reason, with a few exceptions.

In all honesty when you talk natural beauty no make up and weave. The Bantus take it all in Black Africa. All the others are bleached, weave hatted with re-drawn mud packed faces. You would never recognise them the next morning. With Ghana as an exception, love Ghana's originality Black beauties un touched skin colour.

And that is the truth!

I have always thought that Ghanaians have Bantu features. I think they are related.

What physical features are those? Bantu is a language group, not physical features.

Seems like you don't know the people you're always hating on.

Here are the regions that speak a Bantu language.

Exactly! There is no such thing as typical Bantu features. When the Bantu Expansion took place (about 4000 years ago) they met and assimilated different African peoples. This is why there isn't a unified bantu look and bantus can even be distinguished genetically as well. The Bantus in East Africa have a lot of Cushitic (they used to occupy as far as Southern Tanzania) and Nilotic (like in Uganda and Western Kenya) admixture. The Bantus around the Central African rainforest absorbed quite a bit of "Pygmy" genetics. Southern African Bantus have a lot of Khoisan/Bushmen genes.

Bantus are genetically West African.

Bantus are genetically West African.
I couldn't agree with you more. But just a note on the short statured tribes. They occupied lands that reached further east. They live on in the current ethnic and phynotypic makeup of many Kenyan, Tanzanian, probably even more southerly countries. There are some remnants too.

Bantu beauties with clear Nilotic admixture/features

Nilotic Reference Points:
Apajok Wal - South Sudanese Nilote

Ajuma Nasenyana Kenyan Nilote (Turkana, I believe)

Now for "Title Post"
Eva Ndachi - I think she's a Luhya/Luyia

Desire Luzinda - Ugandan Bantu

You are right. East Africa is a meeting point of Nilotes, Cushites, Bantus and even pygmy tribes, beside other races. The first two are pure Nilotes.

If this thread gets trolled by you know who, please let me know. I know that he is always talking about how Somalis are better than Bantus, but I will ban him from the culture section. Carry on with your thread please.

Sorry to disappoint, i have been very busy the last couple of weeks. My apologies. cheesy

By the way, the very fact that my name cannot be uttered, in itself is a feat only accomplishable by a Somali. grin

The Horn of Africa is Cushitic, there is no meeting point. We do not mix. Its like saying Asia is a meeting point for Arabs, Chinese, Indians, Turks, Europeans.

I disagree, but then I understand your viewpoint.
Everyone believes his/ her mother's cooking to be best.
I consider Nigerians to be among the best looking.

A small no. of women in the pics posted so far are very pretty and an even smaller no. of men in the pics on here are attractive.

I'm happy to agree to disagree.

This is not a war thread so I'll let you carry on.

P.s. Bleaching and excessive makeup are not as common among Nigerians as they are among Camerounians and the Congolese (including their men).
