homesteady:It's not certain yet... you know say that board na daigbaizo them be. I read that the club wants Montoya and Bartra to take care of the RB position next season. If this is true as it were, then wouldn't it be proper to start playing them in that position from now? At least, in some games. |

barackohandso: I also thought about the ban, but We don't need Alves again! He is finished! The transfer ban is for only 2 , if he goes during the 2nd one, we'll surely not suffer any terrible loss before the January transfer market! And I'm sure we'll not miss him! |

Alves: "I have 6 months left at Barça, who so far didn't offer me to renew. I want to end the season in a dignified way and then we'll see." Alves: "Barça could have problem at right back if I don't renew? That's Barça's problem, not mine. I just try to do my job the best I can." More like the usual Alves we all have come to know. |

dmcdad:The guy can't even defend again to save his life! I watch in horror when I see some opposing average wingers or even full backs turn him inside out and easily find their way pass him. His best years are well and truly behind him now and Barca knows that. He's still manageable in attack though due to his almost telepathic understanding with Messi. Rakitsh now spends much of his productive time covering his asss. I won't hate to see the last of him |

Johnpaul88:I don't blame him at all... It's all Lucho's fault. For how long would Rakitic cover up for him? At the end of the day, the team suffers because Rakitic won't be able to play his game properly, but will be covering someone else's asss. Compare the matches Montoya played, as against the ones Alves did, you would see that Rakitic had a better game offensively, because with Montoya, he wouldn't have much grounds to cover defensively, and would be able to focus more in linking up with Messi and co upfront. Alves should just go already. Whenever players approach him in our own halve, I become afraid. Haba! |

He's apparently not bothered that Barcelona have been suspended in the transfer market. All he cares about is his welfare.
