So let me start today by telling one of the successful stories of a friend who i help set-up a plantain farm some years ago and he is now making a lot of money from this business.

Double bunch plantain is no go area until the variety is improved upon.
it gives low yield and susceptible to disease even when its suckers are produced through tissue culture

See the end product of double bunch plantain,
Tell me people,if you were to buy this plantain,how much would you buy it?

Personally,if i am to buy this plantain,the last price i can.buy this is #300,now if you are selling #300 per bunch,how would you make profit from plantain business.

Plantain is such a crop that when you chop the roots,it will grow another plant but the problem is that when you make use of this type of suckers for planting,you will not have good uniform crops and they will not fruit at the same time. which will affect your revenue significantly.
