Read thru all pages but didn't bother taking down notes on hospitals in Philadelphia cos I already had plans on which hospital I was going to use. Now my hubby wants me to go stay in Philadelphia with a relative. Please can someone help me with hospitals there with minimal costs. Thanks

The only one that comes to mind is Delaware County Memorial Hospital. $3500 for both Hospital and Dr's fees. Exclusive of Peadiatrician, ultrasound, blood work up etc.

Check page 57 of this thread for Debola23's post.

Note: That price may have been reviewed as that info was posted long ago.

Hello House,

Please those who accompanied their spouse, how did you fill DS160 form? As for the Pregnant mother, hers is B2, but we (I and our daughter) are we filling B2 OR B1/B2?

Please reply.

I had my baby through Obama health care programme, with the help of a friend that works in the hospital though I went earlier to usa enough, it cost nothing, it's free though Africans on ground find it difficult helping others out

This is my situation: my wife is fifteen weeks gone, I'm yet to make her application online for visa interview, my elder brother is a US citizen amd married, I'm not so buoyant but can give her $4,000 prior to her departure and another $2,000 after her delivery. I have asked my brother to put forward an invite to my wife and he's working on that at the moment. Bearing in mind my brother can cater for my wife's medical bills please what are the odds of securing her Visa. With my specific situation is there anything I need to know to improve her chances the more? Thank you house.

HEllo, it's a pity but you call it Obama care cheesy but it is called Medicare/ Medicaid . Your friend didn't help you but she helped in putting you in trouble. If you ever want to step back in USA, pay that bills fast. Thank you

Lmao, she has accepted it successfully and wanting more people to cheat the system. She can't get away. Worst part, its gonna sucks when son/ daughter wants to be mayor of texas or president of usa and finds that mom cheated the system like say 18 years ago. . Shame shocked

Don't take Medicare, so you kids won't look back and curse you. They will want to file citizenship for you and you might not smell any POE again. I haff spoketh grin

So,so sorry to hear that your visa was revoked last year. I think you can apply for renewal now. The issue of the revoked visa is most likely to come up,just be truthfull, appologise that you made a regretable mistake by not telling the truth during your last interview and that you are sorry about it. Wish you all the best.

Ok sweetie, will do just that. many thanks

Yes!!!!! He is Saying it is better you select B2 category instead of B1/B2 YES! YES!! YES!!!
he said and I quote, You need a B2 visa for birthing as this is a medical purpose.
It's very clear, give birth, hospital, doctor , nurses , injection - MEDICAL
Disney land, holiday, thanksgiving, etc - TOURISM
*Sigh*

B2 covers both medical and Tourism. Go for B2

Good day NLers,

I have come again o. Sorry. smiley While applying for my visa, I entered the address where I will staying to have my baby as an extended hotel place I booked close to my hospital. I have gotten to a page on my visa application that asks for US contact info asking if I have a relative in the US. I said yes because my mum inlaw stays in New York. However I won't be staying with her because I cannot afford to pay the high hosp bills in NY. Do you think it is ok for me to use a hotel as my address when I have a relative who I honestly do not intend visiting.
Please advise. I need this info to complete my application.

NB: I might end up staying in one of these private apartments where the owners rent out rooms to expectant mums if I am able to get a good bargain. Will this affect anything? Or should I put the details of my doc or the hospital i am using?
cc: @PrinceAdeAde grin

Thanks.

@Dallas Mums, please help with this enquiry.

FinanceFitness:
Good day house, it has been a while. Congrats to all new mums.

A friend is planning to have her baby in Dallas, so far, all the doctors that are willing to take her at 35weeks seem to have this policy on self quarantine for 3 weeks.

This is therefore a request to all Dallas mums (recently travelled) to please assist with whether or not they were quanrantined on arrival. If no, please share your hospital and doctor's name.

We will really appreciate your help and assistance on this.

Thank you.

I don't think you should mention your relative in NY since you don't plan to stay with them. Don't know if any other person has a different opinion.
