The skin colour of Jesus Christ might be mundane to you, however, it is quite very important as it adds some level of respect and contribution of the black race to the history of man. For hundreds of years, the black race has been looked down upon, deemed inferior and as contributing nothing to the civilization of man, while the very man known to be the founder (St. Paul actually) of the most popular religion in the world, a man whom all races have come to adore and cherish was a black-skinned man. It is quite surprising to think that this very man who other, maybe 'superior', races bow down to comes from the very same people which were enslaved, inferior and considered 3/5th of a human being.

Credit should be given to whom it is due. Misrepresentation of facts or knowledge is historical dishonesty. It isn't ok to say, 'ok we know the inventor was a woman however we will portray him to the world as a man'. It is pure falsity and dishonesty. The truth needs to be told.

What makes you think they were whites instead? You've been lied to all your life that ancient hebrews were white, the true knowledge of their skin colour hidden from you, that you've grown up with such ingrained belief in you that you find it difficult to disbelieve the lie.

Even modern science confirms that humanity started from Africa as the first humans were black africans before migrations occurred to other continents. The bible mentions that Adam and Eve were the first people on earth, shouldn't it confirm to you that they were probably black? Or did Adam and Eve suddenly pop into existence years after the Africans existed? If Adam and Eve were probably white, how did the black race come about? No white couple has ever given birth to a black child but we've seen black couples giving birth to caucasoid-looking babies. Only the black race is capable of having babies of varying skin colours. No other race has this capability. What does that tell you? Which race probably came from the other?

Black people need to awaken to the truth. We've been lied to for over the centuries that we believe lies to be truth. Wake up and do some research for yourself. There is a huge war going on on discredition of black people of their ancient history.

We've been made to believe that Santa Claus and Jesus are white (and Northern European) but are we being mislead?

Santa Claus is a fictional character based on Saint Nicholas who was the Greek Bishop of Myra (part of modern-day Turkey). Jesus is said to be Jew of first-century Palestine.

Would we be wrong in accepting a more dark-skinned (or is it brown-skinned) version of Jesus and Santa Claus or should we just accept them the way they're presented to us?

If you think that we should accept them the way they're presented to us, do you think such acceptance contributes (unconsciously) to our thinking that "white" is more beautiful than "black" or that "white" is good and "black" is bad?

There must be a reason that most blacks, especially in Africa, think being light-skinned is more beautiful or that “black” represents the devil. If you say “black” represents bad and/or the devil, and you’re black, what does that make you?

This is w hat you should expect if Prophet Muhammad (SAW) who emerged almost 600 years after Jesus (PBUH) has no pictures and he (Jesus) does.

We will find out very soon. Just make sure you are saved. As a Christian, that's all that matters to me. Not his colour, even though there's so much evidence in support of Op's position.

There is more than enough evidence that Jesus was actually dark-skinned (not necessarily black). Just Google the subject and stop displaying your ignorance on NL.
For those saying Jesus skin color does not matter, think again. The main reason blacks worship white people and believe they are superior is because we all believe Jesus is white. Change him to black and we will see ourselves as equal if not stronger than white people.
