I just got married 2months ago, my husband is a Nigerian with British Citizenship, we had plans to apply for a settlement visa for me but it's been tough ever since they passed the financial requirement of 18,600pounds. We are thinking now that maybe I should just get a Family visitor visa now (so we can be together for a while ) while he works to meet the settlement visa financial requirement.
My dilemma is this:
1. I run a cake business here in Nig but never got round to registering it, so how do I prove or show evidence of employment and financial details?
2. Will my applying for a visa to visit my husband spoil any chance of getting a settlement visa in the future?

plz house i am in a kinda delima here. im supposed to go to the US for a 9 day conference buh my agent handling d application says marriage status wud b a big issue since im not yet married. he is insisting i choose married while in my e passport wich i got last month, i already indicated single. what are d likely consequences if i shud go wit his option both presently n in d future? if i decide to retain d single status, would i still stand a chance of getting a visa? plz i need urgent advice frm d house. thanks

1) If it is not registered, then it is not registered and so, it can not be used as a proof of a registered business that complies with tax regulation: therefore, it can't provide official documentation for visa application.
2) This sort of application will by no way affect your chance should you apply for a settlement visa in the future

I'm afraid, I don't have the desired answer to your question because, I can't see anything that you can use to provide documentation in respect of occupation, except by fraudulent means.

hello Vicjustice, i hope i can get the help i need here. The thoughts of giving an agent money for visa appears to me as stupid. But as it is, i am almost at that point. Three times i have applied for visas for my wife and kids ,three times they have been refused. The first reason was because i used my compant account. The second reason was because she has no friend in the UK. The third reason,my hotel reservation booking was cancelled.i am about getting tired of it all and have decided to go through it one more time before talking to an agent.

Please I need your advise. I have been given an admission to study Computer Science at an American University.

If I want to apply for a visa, I can only use my own company account which currently has 6M Naira. I am not running my personal account, so it has below 50k in it. What should I do? Should I withdraw the whole amount and deposit it into my personal account?

Moreover, how much do you think I must have in my account to satisfy my financial stability? When applying for the course, the school requested that I send them a statement covering nothing less than $35,000 USD. That fund covers the tuition and housing of 1 year. I’m guessing I have to study there for 2yrs and 6 months.

My ITALY visa application was refused ..going to appeal it, as i was told i can in the doc presented..They said appeal should be with the assistance of a lawyer, what lawyer? local or foreign lawyer?
Also i want to know if it is something i can do myself, if it is, how can i send the appeal to T.A.R(Administrative Regional Court) of Latium, and with what format should i use to write the appeal.. the suckers didn't put no address or email to which i can send appeal to.. Does anyone know the right address?

Sure, you can appeal the decision yourself, you don't necessarily need a lawyer for that.
But how can anyone tell you how to appeal it when the reason for the refusal remains your secret?

Tourist visa..wanted to go there to establish a business contact for future biz. ..and I explained that to them..had visited EU (Uk) b4 and also countries in Africa n Asia without any immigration issues..my travel date was 2 months from application date..enough time to prepare for the trip..I submitted application on the 18/03/2015 denial stamp reads 20/03/2015 even though they asked me to return for collection after 15 working days...I feel d decision is somewhat hasty and not justifiable enough..d VO didnt pay much attention to all proof of my finances and also the fact I have never defaulted in previous travels
