The truth is gradually coming out. First they said the Military was well armed then they blamed their inability to get weapons on the APC and the USA. But thankfully the President admitted that the government did not adequately equip the military before now. In sane societies, he would have been gone or called to account for supervising the needless killing of innocent Nigerians when he had all the resources and power to prevent it. God will judge the wicked and may the blood of those innocent people be on those responsible for not adequately equipping our military. 3 Likes |

barcanista: This is a very empty and lame post. Buhari, Obasanjo, IBB, Yaradua and other real leaders would have cleared Boko Haram in 2012. Even you Barcanista or whatever you call yourself would not have allowed such an affront to your authority as President to continue with so much loss of life. Please face he truth, this is a VERY VERY BAD COMMANDER IN CHIEF. If you want to drop the standards required of the office for him because he is Niger Delta/WE then you have insulted the people from that area. 1 Like |

barcanista:To think that someone who had the power to prevent those deaths but chose to watch people die needlessly perhaps for personal gain is unforgiveable. Many people had to die, lose their limbs, be permanently scarred for life or lose their livelihoods while the President stood by and watched. He had the power and resources to seek for these arms 4 years ago from wherever he got them from. That our Military is routing Boko haram now means that they could also have done same 4 years back thereby preventing or reducing needless deaths. Nay, Boko Haram had no right to even acquire all the arms they have in the first place. The present government allowed this wound to fester and should pay for it one way or the other. 2 Likes |

tuke: If they were not looting like that before, we would not have BH today. The military would have been well equipped, trained and motivated. Thousands on Nigerians would still be with us today, not 6 foot under. Only when election is here did GEJ think we must tackle BH. |

Re: Military Takes Delivery Of Two Jets Loaded With Weapons by abatically(m): 12:28pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
In as much as this a good development to defeat terrorism, one part of me still thinks all these newly acquired weapons might be used to start a civil war especially if Jonathan loses the election. Some will say I sound weird, but we have been hearing threats from naija delta and Biafra that they will go to war if Jonathan doesn't win. I know Nigeria is bigger than just one region, but it becomes more complicated if the president is using his position to arm them. This is just a speculation, no evidence, just a second thought but I think it might be worth lookin at. 1 Like |

abatically: Abegii, forget those fools. Those fools (militants) are not fighting to retain Jonah-daft on the throne, they are only fighting to secure their personal and selfish interest. I live with them, i know them. As soon as Jonah-daft is booted out all what the next President needs to do is to assure them of their interest as long as its not illegal or unconstitutional and u will be surprised that they will ask Jonah-daft to chill out afterall Nigerians voted him in and the same Nigerians has chosen to boot him out. No cause for concern here. |

CyberWolf: He made the statement in the midst of huge loss from the Nigerian nation in both material and human resources. Thats "indictive." Are they more "Nigerian" than those they chose to suddenly cut off for no just cause. The final resort ought to have been the beginning. Both presidency and opposition including Buhari supported the amnesty crap then but i opposed it simply because i strongly believe u dont negotiate with criminals. Till date, Nigeria continue to suffer in billions of Naira monthly for negotiating with killers in ND. Only if he was responsive on time, we wont be where we are today. |
