Try mytv... My friend use it in Abuja...
Subscription is about 3500 and decoder is about 20k...it has all bein sports stations that shows all live matches across the world... EPL, la liga, French league, serie a, etc... But I don't know if it works in all part of Nigeria but its awesome...

Can anyone suggest where else I can watch crime/forensic tv and war documentaries pls. Seriously, I have had it with these SAans. I am definitely not renewing subscription. God punish una

I am sure very soon Americans will find it worthwhile to come into the market so there will be real competition. They don't even have war documentaries to show anymore.

Crazy multichoice. Those blaming Nigeria government hope you read well that that is their new prices across African countries not Nigeria alone..... There is nothing we can do about it unless we get better indigenous cable too that can compete with multichoice.
Well I care less for now, etisalat payg and mtn bis stuff doing the magic for me. Streaming tins too bad....

It is high time our legislator stop this extortion by this useless dstv. their price is so high compare to their services while can't compel them to charge per view also in Nigeria. sometimes late last year I bought star time for my kids and subscribes for #2000 per month and I can tell you their channels are more interesting than dstv if not for the super sports channels offered by dstv. let say no to this extortion.

HITV's problem was thinking Nigerians bought cable just to watch news, and football.

That's where they missed the plot.

Part of the problem is that our bad utilities(light and water) and a lack of properly trained local staff (meaning you have to bring in expats to keep certain systems running...and them expats cost money)....add to the cost of doing business in Nigeria.

It is the same reason why MTN and company charge high fees.

Go for ABG, it costs me only N3,500 every month to watch all my matches. An end must come to slave trade from DSTV. I used to have them before not until they start to act so funny.

Naira de fall yes ...but do they need to increase their dollar rate? Subscribers in Nigeria don't pay in dollars or do they? All they need to do is mark up their Naira equivalent for the prices and that should cover the shortfall grin walahi no regulations for this country fa

Is getting tougher! Even with the current price, you can't enjoy 50% of the fun/service on Dstv due to Nepa/PHCN epileptic stuff. On top of that, Dstv is now adding more salt to the subscribers' wound. embarassed
