I think United should buy this guys if Falcao will be returned. Although it's easier to score a 4th when score is 3-0.

We'll see Kane next season. We have seen Darren Bent, Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturridge raise dusts for some time.
Personally, I don't care about the hype.
Manchester United should look at Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale, that's the level required wink

All-time top English goalscorers:

Bobby Charlton (49)
Gary Lineker (48)
Wayne Rooney (47)

Nice. I remember when it was being reported few months ago that he had a long way to go to catch Charlton. Fast forward almost a year later he is almost there. I read he hit the woodwork twice and provided and Assist. Wish he scored one of the woodworks. cheesy

His recent 5 goals for Man United has also put him 20 goals within club record.

I like his game. He drives the ball past defenders. However, we should watch him next season, but should he perform his price will go above 50m.

Sturridge is not dead yet. He just came from injury. Bent didn't have much football skills. Welbeck has never been a great scorer, he is relevant for other things he brings to the table.

Good that non of our players got injured. Does England have another match to play again? Abeg they should not use our players anymore.

......................
BBC:
* Danny Welbeck has scored six goals in five Euro 2016 qualification matches for England.

* Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling's second-half goal was his first for England

* England have only conceded two goals in seven matches since the 2014 World Cup

* Wayne Rooney has now scored 19 goals since Roy Hodgson took charge of the England team in 2012

* Rooney became the first England player since June 2010 to hit the woodwork twice in the same match

I just hope non of our guys goes beyond one half. Particularly Rooney who has had many games this season. We also need Carrick to be fresh for us.

You haven't heard it all. Read below:

Spanish manager Vicente del Bosque has lamented the situation of Victor Valdes at Manchester United while hoping the goalkeeper will have more minutes in the future in order to be able to return to the national team squad.
Asked during an interview with Radio Station Cadena Cope about whether he is still monitoring Valdes ahead of calling him up in the future, Del Bosque said: "Yes. I know that he is training. I try to look whether he is in the United's bench and I can see that he is currently a substitute.
"I wish him to play because he has always had a sensational behaviour with Spain. I would like him to enjoy his job rather than being on the bench because at his age it is important to be active."

Dat del Bosque na idiot. And as for Valdes, he cant even dream of benching De Gea but i admit he should be getting some game time. LVG shoulda used him in one of those FA Cup matches b4 Arsenal. Who knows, maybe he'll start against Villa nxt week

Gareth Bale's Real Madrid future has been called into question and Paul Scholes wants Manchester United to make a move for the forward.
Paul Scholes views Gareth Bale as a "natural fit" for Manchester United and thinks the forward could become an Old Trafford "great" if he makes the move from Real Madrid.
"My feeling is that he would be perfect for Manchester United, of course, as a fan of my former club I would like to see him there but, looking at it objectively, I always felt that Bale was a natural fit for United as he developed at Tottenham from a left-back into one of the best attacking footballers in the country.
"He would be loved at Old Trafford. In return I believe he could turn Louis van Gaal's team into serious title contenders next season. In my years at United I witnessed some signings who, over their careers, transformed the fortunes of the team.
"From Eric Cantona when I was an apprentice, to Dwight Yorke, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Wayne Rooney. These were great footballers who became great United players. Bale has the potential to make as much of an impact as any of them.
[Source: Independent]

The bold part is the reason I always said Bale deserved the PFA player of the season 2010/2011. He killed oppositions from the left back, even in the UCL. I was astonished by what he was doing from defence.

Who dash Bale leftback? Bale was already a fully fledged winger/wingback(with pretty much No defensive responsibility)at that time. As a leftback, He was at best slightly above average. Nothing special!

Neymar is now 5th on Brazil all time top scorers.

................................

Ademir (1945-1953) scored 32 times for his country, but had a spectacular strike-rate, needing just 39 games to reach that mark

Ronaldinho (1999-2013) managed 33 goals in the 98 appearances for the Seleção

Rivaldo (1993-2003) with his wand of a left foot hit the net 35 times in 74 outings for Brazil

Bebeto (1985-1998) scored at a rate of better than one-in-two as he struck 39 goals in 75 matches

Rivellino (1962-1981) during his long and distinguished career for Brazil managed 43 goals

Jairzinho (1964-1982) was another to score 43 times for his country, his goals coming in 81 games

neymar marca
Neymar (2010-present) joined the duo on 43 goals with his strike against France on Thursday and there are surely many more to come

Zico (1976-1986) has a tremendous record for a midfielder, scoring 48 goals in 71 matches

Romario (1987-2005) is third on the all-time list with 55 strikes in 70 appearances

Ronaldo (1994-2011) was lethal in the yellow of Brazil and found the net 62 times in 98 matches

Pelé (1957-1971) remains top of pile with 77 goals for the Seleção but Neymar looks to have every chance of eclipsing the King.

http://www.ca2015.com/en/gallery/brazils-all-time-top-scorers-neymar-continues-to-close-on-pele/1w7kojuhmoug1uzxykmoupbv0

.... Romario has a greater goals to matches played returned than Ronaldo. shocked

But Pele sha! 77 goals in 92 games.

He wasn't. I want to believe you didnt watch Tottenham then.

I didn't know him before until I saw a young man looking like a Rugby player causing havoc to oppositions from the left back.

you go fear hyperbole....

in 10/11, bale copped

7 goals, 1 assist in 2452 mins(30 apps)
48 key passes, 63 dribbles

nani.....
9 goals, 18 assists in 2674 mins(33 apps)
79 key passes, 83 dribbles.

the only reason won PFA that year was because of the colour of his skin & his british heritage. nani, tevez, berbatov, odemwingie, chicharito, kuyt, cesc were heads & shoulders above bale!
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 1:50am On Mar 28, 2015
When Nani played only as a winger. And Nani played for star studded Man United.

Bale won it for what he did for Small Tottenham. The memories of his maradonna kinds of goals in both EPL and UCL were fresh in his colleague minds.

Well deserved. Case closed.

It is pretty clear Bale has the media to thank for his PFA player of the year award that season. It would be an insult to Harry Kane(in his current form)to say He is deserving of that award this season than Bale was that season.

Kane, even though a striker has not done a fifth of what Bale did that season. Bale was single handedly destroying teams in Europe and EPL.

By the way, the colour of the skin got Gerald sent off last weekend. Ukwu!!! Some people only want to sound intelligent. Always giving lame excuses.

at least, harry kane has the numbers to show for it. how bale won PFA that year is a farce. he didn't have the numbers to show for it nor did he show up in the big games that season. he had only one assist as a full-back. compare that to what ivanovic, zabaleta, baines, rafael, evra, etc usually generate.
