about the architecture, the chances are slim. a close friend of mine also applied for architecture, i had 180 in jamb, and a B parralel result in waec. i also did well in my post utme with a 40/60 and i dont think i did bad in my inter view.

with all that said, u might be lucky, and everybody else who aaplied for architecture gets lower than u, or just get your mind ready to study building tech or worse estate management-or whatever your second and third choices are.

ionno.. i had 180 in jamb last yr. bt had 40 in my post utme and i still got admission. if you got your jamb score with your own efforts, then you have no problem with the post utme. there is also the interview, i think there is a score for it, but we are never told. my advise for you there is to be truthful, but not too truthful.
when they ask, donot tell them that you have never seen beer before or you dont know what a condom is. also, you should keep in mind the reason that u are coming to covenant university and what you hope to do with your result after leaving the school

his chances are above 60 percent, I got into ICE without further maths and TD even though I had 210 in Jamb. Not many people apply for ICE, he should mk it

no no no...... you are okay with that jamb score jst pass your post jamb with above 65 percent you are good to go then

I entered very narrowly because I had a jamb score of 180 on the dot- lucky right? I decided to work harder and got 40/60 in the post jamb. but still that wasn't enough to get admitted to architecture which entered for. but it still got me into building technology which is still within my field. I had a friend who applied for comp. science but was given industrial maths which was probably because he got about 23 in his post jamb. so please perform well in your jamb and post jamb. not forgetting to pick the right combination of subjects in jamb and Waec or which ever O ' level result u decide to use. check your jamb brochure and the links below for info on subject combinations

anyone that tells you that there are particular cutoff marks for courses in cu, doesnt know what he is talkin bout. once you get above the prescribed Jamb cut off mark - which has been 180 for about 2 years now, you are good to go

Putting my suspicions aside (seriously 301 ), I can say you're good to go. That score is way above the average for Mech or any other course in CU. Being a graduate of the said dept., I applied with JAMB - 250+, WAEC - 1A1 (Maths), 2B2s 3B3s 1C4. Had CUSAS - 72/120 (stopped at the 100th question and submitted, found out there were 120 questions afterwards, was like ). With the new post UME, I think any score of 40/60 and above is safe. Just keep in mind that Mech. is very competitive and you should expect to see higher CUSAS scores.

Previously it wasnt. However, with the premium on CU in recent times, I doubt if that's still possible. Before, all you had to do was to just purchase the form from school. I think you should call Admissions or the Registry to find out.

it happened to me to last year, I will advice you will have to write it on the printed application form..in that se column too
