Had travelled on a 6 week course with a female colleague.
The hotel provided breakfast, we had lunch at the office (work days) while cash was given to us daily for dinner (also lunch and dinner, weekends).
We were to account for the previous day's expenses to get money for the current day at COB...all monies not spent were usually returned.

Two weeks into the programme, we decided to ensure that no money was returned...and started buying things we will take back to our "people at home" (Naija).

One evening, I was sorting and found out that some "snack" packs had the picture of cats- oh boy, your guy actually bought some cat foods in the lot...omo, see correct packaging nah!!

I remember using a liquid soap I bought in an Italian supermarket as a body cream for almost one year before my German roommate that could read Italian discovered my folly. Same thing with packaged dog food in an attempt to try new thing grin

Whats your own experience?
my friend use washing plate liquid soap as shower liquid soap for two good months in china without knowing grin
