household and eateries all over Nigeria?

There are so many people out there making millions for naira in this
business and that is because they have discovered the right source to
get onions very cheap from the north and transport to various parts of
the country were they sell at double the amount they buy it.

Now let me take Lagos as an example because I am based here. A bag of
onions which is 125kg plus transport from Aleiro in kebbi state to Lagos is N8000 only.
Each bag of onions has 400 or more inside.
Once your onions gets to Lagos mile 2, you can sell it there very fast
for N9000 to 10000. There are periods when a bag of onions goes for as
high as N20000 but its not always good to put your eye in big money so
you can sell fast because remember people buying from you want to
resell.

so far as the op is not importing, it means he's buying from a local farmer or middleman. which is still part of the value chain. which makes it interesting to me. If he becomes a food supplier, maybe he can start buying and selling more than onions. Maybe ur cucumber or ur watermelon. do you catch my drift?

A bag of 125kg onions plus logistics from the northern main market to Lagos is N8000 so it depends on how many bags you want to start with sir.

The onions is gotten from Aleiro in Kebbi State which is the biggest onion market in west Africa.

Quite well said. I order through her and yes she is very reliable. I havent been to the market in kebbi because I sell in Lagos but my madam brings it from there.

@op.please try to tell people that in onion business you will be forced to sell below your cost price sometimes.let them not think that it all about profit and profit all the time.Moreso i hope you know that price always flautate in the market.you may not even be able to get your capital back.thank you
